The Firebee is a lethal city fighter.

That Firebee you picked is a HOSS. Love the Plasma/Infernos combo.  [rockon]

I will say I was impressed with the wee wittle Arcitc Fox.  Never used it before.  I did pretty good picking my mechs considering I didnt really put any thought into them.

Was a fun and great game and thanks for letting me play!

Yeah. At one point he described the 6/9/9, SnPPC, C3 spotter Phoenix Hawk as "mediocre".

No, you were correct with "unreasonable". IJJs are freakin awesome.

My friend Gerry Swanson made a video parody of Back to the Future. It's pretty funny, and the payoff joke, yeah, it's pretty good.

Yeah, you hammered the shit out of us. I've always respected the Arctic Fox, and that configuration was lethal in a city.

I'm going to be watching my wife's birds while she's in Michigan next weekend, so if anyone wants to try a bigger game of MM, I'm up for something Sunday.

So yeah, the game last night was a blast, even just as a spectator.  I have enough on my plate that I'd rarely be able to play such an evening game, but any time some of you guys want a peanut gallery I'll happily join in.  The Arctic Fox and the Plasma Rifle on Ed's Firebee both really impressed me.  I'd never seen a Plasma Rifle in action before, but it was devastating to that Jackal.

It was really the inferno SRM salvo that I blasted the Jackal with from my MML launcher, combined with 11 SHS on an ER PPC-toting light 'mech, but yes, the net effect was to ****** the Jackal up mightily. Poor Josh! He probably hates us all now.

We were hurt most by our poor deployment and uncoordinated tactics. Paladin initially gave us an advantage when he smoked MDM's Jenner, but we squandered it two turns later when we didn't all stand off and use our temporary superiority in heavy long ranged guns (the two ER larges in the Mongooses, my LB-10-X, and technically, my plasma rifle) to hammer the enemy at range. We never recovered from losing a third of our force in such quick succession.

True, the real kicker was I forgot the wall on that map was six hexes, I thought it was five. Rendered the Valk to pretty much being a spectator for three rounds.

That Valkyrie isn't really a great city fighter anyway. The QD4 would have been a much better choice for that map for a similar BV.

Yeah it's a little sub optimal but I've had good success with parking it on a roof and shooting down into melees or along streets in the past. Just it's never going to work on THAT map.  ;D

If such things are going to happen again I'm happy to try to find the relevant version of MM and try to play

Im up for more games of MM as well.  I rarely get a chance to play it.  Last night was my second game against another person.  I did play a game with Adrian Gideon one time, but with his hectic schedule trying to get a MM game in would be like hearding cats when you cant see.  Or hear.  With one leg. :D
