Course you can!  Just have to be very sneaky. ;)

Work is fairly monolithic and there is also the chance of getting called away at any time  :(

On the other hand, I do get nice bits of time off and am, by nature, more nocturnal than "morning person"

I cant really say anything though.  Would be impossible for me to play MM at work.  Course I do construction... #P

I'm an Intensive Care doctor, apparently the patients I'm looking after might be poorly! Who'd ha' thunk it?

So yeah, the game last night was a blast, even just as a spectator.  I have enough on my plate that I'd rarely be able to play such an evening game, but any time some of you guys want a peanut gallery I'll happily join in.  The Arctic Fox and the Plasma Rifle on Ed's Firebee both really impressed me.  I'd never seen a Plasma Rifle in action before, but it was devastating to that Jackal.
I'll gladly second that thought, now that I'm at least partially recovered from dealing with the ass-raping that the Arctic Fox gave my Mongoose.  I completely forgot that thing could jump.

We were hurt most by our poor deployment and uncoordinated tactics. Paladin initially gave us an advantage when he smoked MDM's Jenner, but we squandered it two turns later when we didn't all stand off and use our temporary superiority in heavy long ranged guns (the two ER larges in the Mongooses, my LB-10-X, and technically, my plasma rifle) to hammer the enemy at range. We never recovered from losing a third of our force in such quick succession.
Hey, I did stand off.  I just didn't stand off far enough away from MDM's Wight.  When that failed, I tried to blend in with the south wall and WL4 pointed out the flaw inherent in my master plan.

Ah ok.  I withdraw my previous statement about playing MM at work.  You should NEVER play that at work good sir!  What were you thinking? ;)

Look on the bright side.  You werent the only guy that suffered the Arctic Fox in the rear arc last night.

Im up for more games of MM as well.  I rarely get a chance to play it.  Last night was my second game against another person.  I did play a game with Adrian Gideon one time, but with his hectic schedule trying to get a MM game in would be like hearding cats when you cant see.  Or hear.  With one leg. :D
Same here, last night was my first MM game against a live opponent and I'm ready for another whenever you guys are up for it.

Might I suggest an assault mech?  Hehe!

Hmm, no, I don't see that happening.  Maybe a nice fast medium or something with a LBX of some sort.

I'm pretty sure that 3CL has a Hollander lying around somewhere.  It's even still got it's full ammo load.   :P

No worries, there was no way you could know the plan that I only had in my head and never mentioned to anyone else; I could have almost as easily moved to support you, too.

Next time we do this, I think skype might not be a bad idea, though then we miss out on a lot of the trash talk.

Does the Enfield have an LB?

Pah, tactics are the last refuge of cowards and those who fail to take the most MunchieTech units on the board

Next you will want to use completely optimised units brought together from all possible factions and time periods rather than using an appropiately tailored time specific faction based formation

Does the Enfield have an LB?

Yes

Yeah, but so does the Enforcer and Centurion, plus they don't have the problem with FF that the Enfield does.

Evil DoctorMonkey, get out of my head.  Yes, I have an appropriately tailored, time specific, faction based formation.  I'm just never going to be able to finish painting it.

Forgive me.  I dont really know much about IS mechs.  I generally know their basic stats but not battlefield performance.

I'm referring to the problems that MM has with certain designs which utilize FF armor.  We had a couple of designs last night, the Osiris and Scarabus, that were not able to be used due to the way armor points are calculated under TW-rules.

Aaaahh, yeah, that one.  I tend to just allow illegal designs, then delete the unofficial file.

Looking to play some MegaMek this afternoon, very happy to play against Team Davion or whoever.  I generally prefer the most recent version but I do have 34.9 installed.

So, second Combine company idea:

Warhammer IIC 8
No-Dachi (unsure, maybe I want this in the C3 company?)
Daikyu
Wolverine

Grasshopper
BJ2-O Blackjack
Panther
Panther

Akuma
Marauder II

Sunder with the AC20 and all the SRM4s is a lot of fun.
