With the recent announcement of the planned "
Legends" e-publications of old
BattleTech novels, plus the onset of "new"
BT print and e-book novels, I was wondering where this new setup might leave
A Bonfire of Worlds.
On the one hand,
Bonfire is not a "new" fiction work, since it has been available as an e-book for several years now. But on the other hand, it was not a "classic" novel in the sense that it was e-published after the soon-to-be-closing print novel interregnum had set in.
In other words, is
Bonfire a potential candidate for print publication (even if a final decision on this has yet to be made) - or may it end up being essentially grandfathered into what appears to be an e-book-only
Legends collection?
And whichever answer may be the case, would the same also apply to other novel-length e-stories which have yet to be printed in English - such as
Fall From Grace,
Redemption Rift, or
Betrayal of Ideals?
