(Answered) Leaving Hull Down - Jump/Sprint
« on: 17 June 2024, 20:55:46 »
Hello.

Page 38 of the Commanders Edition, 6th printing, last sentence under "Hull Down" says, "A hull down unit must spend another 4" to leave the position, but no roll is required."

Does a unit need to use standard ground movement to get out of hull down, or can it also use jump or sprint movement as long as it pays the 4" cost?

Note, on the same page, it states, "A ground unit using standard ground movement may go hull down", but I can't find any such restriction on leaving hull down.

Thanks for your help.

There is no limit on what type of movement it uses, as long as it spends 4" of MV.  It can jump or sprint.
