A perhaps silly question about typography and maps
« on: 23 February 2024, 20:35:23 »
Why are some system names (a small minority) on the various Inner Sphere maps italicized (and black dotted instead of, what, "shade of surrounding realm" dotted)? Thanks!

It's possible these are artifacts of these being fan made maps, but I don't think so. I know it's a fan site, but what I've got here is downloaded from sarna.net. (I like to kind of follow along at home on the maps as I read sourcebooks.)

Cheers!

You're not sure because it turns out to have nothing to do with y'all and I posted this in the wrong place! As it happens, I received my answer via PM from another forum member (in case others are interested, the black dotted/name italicized planets on Sarna maps are "dead" planets that no longer appear on official CGL maps). Thanks anyway!
