I've got a few questions regarding underwater combat, and since they're all one theme, I figured I'd just group them together.
1: Can LRTs (TW, page 229) fire indirectly, of course assuming that the firer, spotter, target, and obstruction are fully submerged, and there is at least some water above the obstruction for the torpedoes to move through?
2: How do woods hexes affect submersibles? Presumably these woods would consist of flooded forests, or marine plants such as kelp(or their alien equivalent).
3: Do submarines have a minimum height above the bottom they must maintain in order to move? For example, a surfaced sub in a Depth 1 hex that dives to Depth 1 is submerged. Can it move at that depth, or is it resting on the ocean floor, and incapable of movement until it rises at least one level(in this example, surfacing)?
4: Are infantry in water hexes considered to be in the open, or does the water count as cover?
5: Am I missing something, or is there very little point to marking damage on a submarine's internal structure? Aside from a surfaced vessel taking damage to the turret, I can't think of any situation where a non-huge submarine can lose a location's armor without being immediately destroyed via flooding.
Thanks for any help!
