yes, that’s a really obscure start to a question, I know :)
Per the NAIS Atlas of the 4th Succession War, Gamna 12VR CO is Colonel Velia Delacroix for book 1 (who actually gets a brief piece of fun character lore on p 19), and then the largely anonymous Timothy Riley for book 2 (see the orbat for Gamma on p 105). I've dug fairly deep and I'm not finding any explanation of what happened to Delacroix.
Am I missing some obscure lore somewhere, or is this something I'll have to explain away in a Shrapnel story? 😄
It’s been suggested to me that the former very likely died during the chemical weapons attack on 1st and 3rd Gamma Regiment during the batle on Boganville Highway, as mentioned in Field Manual: Mercenaries (Revised), but there is no proof of this.
I’d like to hope that someone didn’t simply have a brain fade and forget who she was between books 1 and 2. ;)
