It seems the Exterminator doesnt have a writeup? Or did i overlook it? (That new variant looks really tempting... like a taco  ;D :D). Im not volunteering. Just asking.
It has ('cause i wrote it), it probably hasn't been added to the index. Lemme find it.

Moratorium period for RecGuide 2 will officially be over tomorrow.
EDIT: I grabbed the Sojourner since no one else made a move on it.

If nobody else has claimed it yet, I would like to cover the Sun Bear.

So, now I'm imagining people boxing up Overlords for loading as cargo.  "Nope, totally not a DropShip.  Everyone knows you can't fit a DropShip in a WarShip!  It's...a ten thousand ton box of marshmallows!  Yeah.  For the Heavy Guards big annual smores party."

That's fine, but just remember to respect the moratorium. Nothing on Golden Century until Sept. 11th.

Do we not have a current (ie non-archived) MotW on the Mongoose?  Someone should correct that.  I’d give it a whirl myself, but seeing as I rarely (if ever) get to play an actual tabletop game (even via MegaMek) I feel like I’m not best-placed for it.  If no one else is interested I might still give it a shot.

Well I finally did the thing and proofed and posted the Peacekeeper.  Probably be my last article for a bit as I've just lost the itch because of self quarenteen.

I would definitely encourage you to give it a shot, even if you're rusty!
It's always great to have more voices in here.

Also, unless there's any objections, I'm going to do the Heirofalcon next.

Uhh, yeah...since I've had to spend time writing to actually earn money (barely), I haven't written anything for the Sun Bear.  But I seem to have a dry spell right now, so maybe I should get something done...

So uh, yeah, that Sun Bear article...

I started it!  Really I did!  I can even post a preview for proof!

Don't know when I can finish it.  Hallowe'en, maybe?  Which would be kind of appropriate, since, as I argue in the article, it is just kind of another 'Mech dressed up in a new costume...

cheers,

Gabe

Interesting fact for anyone wanting to do a MotW:

None of the classic Ost trio currently have articles up. :)

I've wanted to do a massive Osticle ever since we started getting the classic art redesigns...but I'm waiting for the new art to pop before bumping it up on my to-do list.

But that does leave the Ostscout open. Hmm.

I'm keeping the word Osticle. I have no idea what I'm going to use it for yet, but I'll find something.

Hi everyone,

My TRO:3026 is locked away in storage, so I need some help here.

I remember the fluff for one of the tanks in that book mentions a unit of that tank named "Hildegarde", which was famous for being a deathtrap for its crews.  Can somebody please remind me what kind of tank it was and which military it served in? (I would guess Lyran, by the name...?)

I'm asking here because I want to mention it in the MoTW article I'm writing for the Sun Bear, which is similar with regard to the aforementioned characteristic...

cheers,

Gabe

According to TRO 3039, Hildegarde was a Marik Militia Demolisher.

Hmm...given the general lack of response to my last article, I can't say I'm terribly eager to do another anytime soon.

Don't let it get you down. The un-storied, barely played, extinct Sun Bear got more responses than the Lynx, one of the better Mechs ever. Sometimes people don't feel that there is anything to add to a MotW. Could be worse. I have had otW responses immediately turn into thread derails longer than the on topic responses.

Did anyone ever do any MotWs for the mechs in Hanseatic Crusade? Surely they're past the moratorium by now...

Anyone recall if there is a clan by clan breakdown of mechs used?  I thought there was one in the era report, but I haven't stumbled across it yet.

No RATs from Golden Century is what was looking for.  Only item I found this far was a Klondike RAT.
