XCOM 2's mod community has me drowning in customization options.

And yet it still feels limited.

Friend of mine got me interested in Tom Clancy's The Division. The immersion is amazing, and the environment is a big part of that. Shooters are far from my favorite category of game, and tend to avoid them. This one is fantastic.

I'm thinking about getting a new game and I'm currently debating on whether to pick up Skyrim Special Edition for PS4 when it releases in another week or getting Witcher 3 Special Edition, which is already out.

Anyone played both games and have thoughts?

Witch 3 is great, but to get the full meaning need to at the very least play Witcher 2.

Skyrim, you can easily, EASILY sink over 300 hours into that.

I'm hesitant to get a modern game on my laptop, which isn't optimized for gaming, and I'm certainly not going to pick up an XBox 360 just to get a single game.

(My Lander is about 12Km off to the right in the basin of the crater. It took a half hour to get up into the lowlands to take the shot... so beautiful.)

After GTA Online last night, couldn't sleep... ended up spending a couple of hours going old-school on Super BattleTank: War In The Gulf for the Super Nintendo. A game old enough to drink now... and one best played while drinking, so you have somthing to do during the long, boring treks between targets.

Seriously guys, I mean I get it, not all targets are near each other, but... ugh. At one point, a march between a Hind helicopter and a T-72 tank took enough time that at 75% speed I had enough time to leave to hit the restroom and grab a cider from the fridge, and still was back in my chair with time to check my ammo load before engaging the tank.

I theorize that years after this came out, folks at Obsidian played it, decided that long treks across desert terrain with nothing to do would be fun, and made Fallout: New Vegas. ;D

Thinking about picking up a "new" FPS for PC with decent bot support, but it seems every post-Black Ops 2 CoD (The franchise I usually default to for Bot fighting) is not optimized for PC, and Black Ops 2 isn't good for Windows 10 apparently.

Anybody have anything like that? Preferably with a decent amount of customization.

Then again it does come from the Elder Scrolls line up of gaming drugs, they are habit forming after all.

I played WoT exclusively for the last couple months, but now I'm back on Rainbow Six Siege. These new Brazilian operators seem...odd. At least one's carrying a SAW, so there's that.

My brother played Evercrack, I got into Guild Wars because I didn't have money for subscription fees.

As for Civ, I'm playing the new version and overall it isn't that bad but I'll need a few more games to really get a review.

i had not touched guild wars in ages...
as for civ 6? let me get back to you on that one i have to do one more turn with it G( be aware civ games bend time space in strange ways as you play)

I just got it today.

I'm quite surprised by the fact that the PS4 version supports modding, despite the PS4 version of Fallout 4 being unable to.
