Painted my first "Asian City" 3D print building by Lazy Forger today (gotta now work on the signage for that building)... with many more buildings & city stuff to paint soon. Thought I would start a topic and keep updating with my progress.

Nice!
-
Looking good!
-
I look forward to your end table.
-
Added some Japanese signage stickers to the building.
-
Nicely done!
-
Reminds me of places in Korea as well. Nice!
-
Painted a new crumbled building for the city.
-
The ground level shots are GREAT!
-
Love the pic. Where did the chinhook come from?
Also where do the buildings come from?
-
Got the chinhook from Etsy
(https://www.etsy.com/transaction/3560019040?ref=proteus_transaction_link&campaign_label=epp_buyer_shipping_confirmation_treatment_recs&utm_source=transactional&utm_campaign=epp_buyer_shipping_confirmation_with_recs_treatment_010170_1100102597631_0_0&utm_medium=email&utm_content=&email_sent=1684233054&euid=mu2aVf5hgsnrl_Ggs9ZiNYTdGHmr&eaid=1006071806610&x_eaid=50d22bc945&link_clicked=27)
As for the buildings, from Etsy, Ebay and Hardware Studio 3D prints.

Nice find!

I like the addition of the civilian vehicles and the infantry.
I think they make it look more like a real lived in environment.
You should post some how to paint buildings threads.
I've seen similar vehicles in several locations but do you know where
you got that infantry from?
-
I also got the infantry from Etsy. I like these because the base is thinner than most other 6mm infantry I have seen.

It's nice that they're individual too. :)
-
Thanks.I might try these out!

That's what interests me. I think I can modify some of them to look like techs in a
mech bay project I'm working on.
I can put guards at the doors and techs with tools on walkways.
Just a few people can really make scenery come alive.
-
Sweet! One of my mantras is that "NPCs are people too". Minis like that drive it home in a way that's ineffable.

Love to see your work in progress. Would love to start on a mech bay down the road, but for now, still many terrains to paint.
-
Wanted to start a new games this weekend, but work got into the way. But at least put the pieces on the table to take a quick photo.
-
Looking good! I like the fire/smoke markers!

School/life/my kid is keeping me busy right now.
I'm taking pics as I go and have a number of working ideas but just can't get time to concentrate.
I'm reworking 2 of the old "Somerset University Mech Maintenance Facilities" to be more detailed and
have lighting. If you've never seen them they were modeled after the buildings from the Battletech
animated series for Geo-hex many years ago. They hold a lance each.
I think I've found/figured out the supplies I need I just need time.
-
Great! I look forward to when you have more time to work on that!

Far out. Stunning. Everything here is gorgeous (especially two of my favourite mechs, the Banshee and Sagittaire, lined up). I really like those Litko markers, too!

It portraits city combat like it is: an absolute mess. Looks great and sure we will be amazed by future improvements.

Where did you get the civie cars again? Because when I can afford it, I may pick up a few.
