Title: Quasit MilitiaMech and Advanced Fire Control
Post by: TigerShark on 15 January 2014, 02:08:23
It has been suggested by one of the writers that the Quasit was used in a military capacity by the Rim Worlds Republic during their occupation of the Terran Hegemony. If not with the 1st Liberation Army, it seems logical that it would have been deployed with the Amaris Legionnaires and Dragoon regiments back home.

Is it reasonable to assume these "military-grade" Quasits had their FCS upgraded to Advanced, over the Basic FCS installed by CT&T?

The Quasit should already have advanced fire control, it was designed to fool people into thinking it was a BattleMech.

The given Battle Value of the Quasit QUA-51T in the current Record Sheet product is for a Basic FCS. Would this be an errata issue, then?

Yup.
