I've never heard of NYS tax on shipping, but its there.  Hoping they review things again, my $101 still seems way to high.

On a side note the toxicity on the KS forums is really disheartening.

Is that $208 before or after the GST?

That's before tax. There's $67 additional in taxes which includes tax on order and tax on shipping.

Now, in the clear light of the post-combat situation report I grant that it was perhaps not the most tactically efficient course to expend a once-per-mission cooldown and incur sufficient excess heat to melt my own reactor core twice over in order to inflict 45 points of damage upon a target with 80 HP, but I strongly feel any assessment of the soundness of my decision should take into account that ****** had it coming.

Rem just said on-stream to hold off on questions until there's a backer update to say shipping fees are properly uploaded and should be correct, and then they can start looking at outstanding anomalies.

Jiyi's Falcons have an incredible surplus of equipment due to Sudeten's factories.

Though some might see it as a natural consequence of Novyy Rodina entering the fusion era, the Koloss is still something of an enigma. Novvy Rodina has always fielded a grotesquely oversized military, but their army has always been focused almost entirely on internal security, while massed batteries of surface to orbit missiles tipped with low yield fission warheads have been more than enough to deter or eliminate offworld attacks, and it has been decades since any sort of hostile force has managed to land on either of their worlds.
And yet, Novyy Rodina, or at the very least the world of Vanya, has invested billions of rubles and three years of development time to create a (admittedly primitive) home grown battlemech, and is presently gearing up for mass production. While some argue that this program is little more than a vanity project, or that the mech is simply meant to do the job that heavy armor currently handle, the shear cost of building these mechs, as well as the power imbalance they create between the two worlds of Novyy Rodina, casts doubt on those claims.
Though it would be deemed obsolete in the Inner Sphere, the Koloss is a showcase of recent technological advancements achieved by Novyy Rodina. The mech is powered by Mikhailov-Gagarin's first generation compact fusion reactor, a technology largely thought of as unthinkable even a decade ago. The armor, the material of the structural members, the myomers, and the lasers that make up the primary weapon systems were also only recently developed, effectively leapfrogging Novyy Rodina's otherwise stagnant military industries so rapidly that some outside observers insist that Mikhailov-Gagarin most likely had some outside help. The machine itself suffers all the limitations of its primitive nature, being slow and only thinly protected, but it mounts considerable firepower. Paired large lasers serve as the main weapon systems, backed up by a battery of unguided rockets mounted in each shoulder, while a mixed cluster of light and anti-personnel weapons provide close range firepower. In general, the mech's outline and the layout of its weapon systems are evocative of the classic Warhammer, albeit on a smaller and less sophisticated frame. Though crudely built and the product of largely unskilled labor, the Koloss is also reputedly a very reliable and forgiving mech for both its pilots and its technical crews, possibly as a deliberate nod to the limited training and resources generally available to the nation's military personnel.
At present, the Koloss is only being manufactured on Vanya, which is a bone of contention between it and its sister world Katya. In order to avoid conflict, the two worlds of Novyy Rodina have maintained a careful balance of both power and knowledge over the centuries, a balance that has now been threatened by Vanya's rapid development of both fusion technology and new military technologies like the Koloss. Though Vanya has rightly pointed out that Novyy Rodina's dependence on chemical rockets to ship physical goods between worlds limits what they can actually send to Katya, there are still indications that Mikhailov-Gagarin's offices on Vanya may be holding back critical data from their counterparts on Katya specifically to delay that world's own development programs, even as Vanya moves to rapidly expand production of their own battlemechs and aerofighters. Whether this is a cynical power play for concessions, a case of massive bureaucratic stupidity, or even a prelude to an attempt to fully seize control of Novyy Rodina remains to be seen.

So I'm contemplating running a game based on Hell's Horses' Operation STAMPEDE attack on Sudeten.  It's going to be an urban fight and I'm considering what Falcon forces to use: vehicles and BA are both going to be on the table, with the Falcons fielding hidden units.
