The mech looks pretty! I think that you did a great work highlightning the white, the purple looks good but the highlights are too subtle, you need more contrast. The picture is the worst part, it is too blurry and has a lot of "noise" in the picture.

Yeah, I'd agree that you could use more highlighting.  Get some lighter colored purple and a small brush.  Then lightly go over the top edges. 

Looks great in Marik purple!

Thanks all for the comments.  Part of the problem was the lack of lighting when I took the first picture.  I  took a new one this morning with more natural lighting.

The Free World Guards are purple and white - one of these days I need to get decals for the unit and add them to my minis.

I'm in the same boat. Its lacking in any insignias or designations. Out of hundreds of mechs & tanks etc,
I have less than a dozen with any numbers or insignias. after I moved last year, i cant seem to find my decals.
I'm not confident enough to hand paint any symbols either.  My space marines are the same way for the most part.
That's pretty bad. But if you are gonna slack off, at least I do it well! [cheers]
