The same could be said for the Falcons though too. Malvina left everything in the Falcon OZ and took everyone who was able to fight to Terra. Both Clans have no way of reinforcing themselves the "Clan way". They can adopt more IS citizens but of course who would be willing. I can see the coming recruitment drive for the new SLDF not netting many recruits, at least for now.

And the coming battles will most likely thin out the Falcons even more. Who knows how the Terran Falcons will look like once the main battles are over. Maybe a few true Clanners at the top and the rest all Terrans. Or warriors from other clans

Historically, the Germans found out you can staff military formations from conquered populations pretty effectively-the Waffen SS included whole regimental or divisional units of Frenchmen, Danes, Belgians, Norwegians and so on (even Russians, see "Don Cossacks").

Most of which fought loyally for the third reich, so Alaric, at least, might be able to scrounge and recruit enough bodies to be effective, but I'm kinda suspecting that the kind of people who'd volunteer to serve in Jade Falcon colors are the kind of people even Malvina would be reluctant to hand a weapon to.

Worth mentioning. Stone ran out of people. The Republic’s equivalent to George Washington / Jesus-Kun came back from the dead and said “you wanna kill some clanners and Capellans?” and gave everyone who said yes a weapon. Stone might have been picky pre-Freeze about recruiting sociopaths, but he absolutely would have recruited the worst of the worst who were willing to fight by 3150. Terra is also, while the most productive planet in the setting, also a tiny population to work off compared to any other nation. RotS ran out of people to fight while recruiting from the 40B of prefecture X. Wolves are working off the 12B of just Terra. That doesn’t even get into that Stone spent at least a decade, maybe decades, poisoning the well.

Will there be quislings? Yeah. In large numbers? I don’t expect so right away.

In the short term, say… under 6 months (so end of 3151), I would expect Falcons and Wolves should be stuck largely with whatever they had in June. (Or less given Republic ex-pats from the empire and the abtakha from the ilclan trial may leave in some numbers due to Alaric’s dissolution of the RotS and murder of stone).

By 3154? I expect Terra to be providing some level of second line reinforcements to the league to get numbers up, or at least replace some losses.
