Who is Griffon Meshune?

Hello, I'm looking for a reference for Griffon Meshune.

I'm working on a series of articles tangential to the Battle for Luthien during the Jihad. In JTF: Luthien and Dawn of the Jihad it's mentioned that he is killed during the battle for Sanethia Kurita Parade Grounds. From the context, he's a Loyalist. But that's it. His sole entries in those titles (that I can find) are simply to announce his death.

Out of curiosity, I'll take anything as to why he's important, but I'd like to get a reference, to find out why his life was important.

He was the commanding officer of the 2^nd Battalion of Otomo. Before the beginning of Jihad he was promoted to be the CO of the whole Otomo regiment. He believed in Theodore Kurita's reforms.
