Who is Griffon Meshune?
« on: 16 July 2011, 21:08:50 »
Hello, I'm looking for a reference for Griffon Meshune.

I'm working on a series of articles tangential to the Battle for Luthien during the Jihad. In JTF: Luthien and Dawn of the Jihad it's mentioned that he is killed during the battle for Sanethia Kurita Parade Grounds. From the context, he's a Loyalist. But that's it. His sole entries in those titles (that I can find) are simply to announce his death.

Out of curiosity, I'll take anything as to why he's important, but I'd like to get a reference, to find out why his life was important.

Thanks.

He was the commanding officer of the 2nd Battalion of Otomo. Before the beginning of Jihad he was promoted to be the CO of the whole Otomo regiment. He believed in Theodore Kurita's reforms.

Thanks, martian. That explains a lot more about him than I knew.

Any chance someone knows in what product(s) he was present (other than JTP:L and DotJ)?
