I forget which it is, but one of the World Wide Events a few years back featured the Ghosts and had a fairly large roster for Demo Agents to build from. I think the download is available either on this site or the CGL store. (I'm giving you so much hard info, I know. :) )

As I recall, it was mostly a mix of pirate and Merc, with a noticeable amount of Blakist and Goliath Scorpion stuff mixed in.

Map scale, or 'Mech scale?

Map scale, the USS Nimitz class carrier (332m long), and comes out at 11 hexes long, 2 1/2 hexes wide. Which would look quite silly next to a current mini.

Mech scale, at theoretical 1:285, it's over 1m long (3'10" for USAians). 1/300 scale kits would be near enough for government work.

Then there's these:



Look for '3D puzzle aircraft carrier'. They're foamboard, easy to assemble, and probably just a little smaller than 1:285. Unfortunately I can't find the photos I took of the one I built right now.

I know the two closest scales for railroad set buildings off the top of my head but . . .

 . . . does anyone have experience using/kitbashing ship model kits into table top BT terrain?  I was looking at some 1/350 models and was wondering . . .

1/350 stuff is pretty good, overall. It does depend on the ship your wanting to use, though. I've got a Typhoon I turned into an Argo, but needed a 1/700 model for that.

A 1/350 *Kuznetsov* is exactly the right length for a Luftenburg.

Only partially related, but multiple model companies (my favorite is Trumpeter) make 1/350 aircraft for adding to carrier models, and those are often the PERFECT size to make conventional fighters or support aircraft.

I think I need to contact them as well considering all I ordered was the regiment pledge, the cookbook, a few extra force packs and salvage packs and a bunch of dice, patches and a few challenge coins, and I’m paying half again or more in shipping to TN that others are paying to Ireland or Spain (including their VAT charges in that shipping total).

Worth it.  They just messaged me that my final charge will be reduced by $75.  Still higher than I originally expected, but far more resonable.

A variation of the oiginal ENF-6NAIS, the ENF-7NAIS aims for mobility. The targeting computer, ECM and C3 slave unit are dropped, as is the light ferro fibrous armor. In order to save even more weight an XL Gyro is installed. The mechs mobility is increased drasticaly with a total of 8 improved jump jets. The ER small laser is swapped for a medium pulse laser on the left arm. The rest of the already very accurate armament suite is retained.

The ENF-7NAIS can still fight more or less as the 6NAIS, though being less accurate. Instead of relying on maximum accuracy, the C3 System and the ECM to overcome the opponent, the 7NAIS aims to excell by outmanouvering the enemy by delivering crippling fire on the targets back.

The mech stays heat neutral while jumping by using the MPL and the Large VSPL. On the horizontal you can shoot and run and remain heat neutral by firing the SNPPC and Large VSPL. Even when alpha striking up close you retain a good amount of accuracy with the weapons you have and can disingage by using the iJJs when needed.

Plus vs vehicles OR helos, you can get lucky and stop them dead in their tracks..

True, true.  And for VTOLs, it doesn't feel so bad when 2 points become 1, unlike a PPC's.
