Autocannon Rate of Fire

Does an autocannon fire two individual rounds per BattleTech turn? Or is the number less defined?

Hello,

The number is less defined. Beyond the fact that autocannons fire a burst of shells per pull of the trigger, the exact calibers, rates of fire, muzzle rates, and the like are deliberately left vague and the game rules are considered to be an abstraction.
