I might be able to swing Jan 29th, depends on the wife's work schedule.

As with all things at the moment: TBD.  Sorry, but my life is even more unpredictable than normal right now.  I might have to start working weekends, and the news should tell you why...

Well of course, you've got to do your duty to protect Keith Richards as the last Immortal since he triumphed over Betty White. If he goes the final seal of the end times will open and the great beast Narthalyotep will rise again.

Feb 12th is looking good for me right now. I have a tentative range day on the 19th but if that falls through it will open that day as well.

Just a quick heads up, I was at Huzzah today grabbing some paint and they said that the battletech game that was canceled a couple weeks ago will be next Monday the 31st.

Yeah, I may try to swing by just to meet that group but will not be staying to throw dice.

Hey all, I am working towards having the big Alpha Strike boards completed in about another month so it will hopefully be ready to show off in April or early May it is about 3/5 done. Hoping to pack it up and bring it to Huzzah for a day of AS fun and games. Any interest in that?

I have only done small games so some recommended point values would be great.

I'd be down for that.  Be sure to look at Huzzah's calendar to make sure there isn't a big tournament thats going to be on the day you're trying to run the game.  If need be, i can help run it to help move it along smoothly

I was in there Sunday to grab some paint and saw that a couple of people were playing CBT. I did not hang around long though. I am now on their Discord too so between that and the calendar I should be able to lock something down...

No problem. I am working us some rules for CBT on the same board and since it is big old hexes it should be playable. I just do not think its first time out should be for CBT. Once I get some of the finer points out I would want to play a game or two one there to see how it feels.

There is some action at Victory Comics as well in Fairfax, and there's a club getting a BT community off the ground called Victory Gamers.

If anyone is interested, let me know - some of the players aren't new to BT but the club is.

I could be interested.  I've heard of Victory, they occasionally host heroclix stuffs, but I've never gone.

It really depends on what day.  Looks like everything tends to start at 6, and I don't get off work til 6...

I'm free saturdays for example but it looks like that day's for warhammer.  Tuesday I use for clix nights.  For the next couple months I have free mondays but that's temporary.

I'm headed overseas for a few years so I can't do it, but don't forget for these new groups that there are 3 facebook groups, at least two discords, and this forum that has people in the area all scattered across.  Most are only on one or two and few are on here.  So just dont forget those others if you are wanting to get the word out.

Is anyone planning on going to the NOVA Open? Saw some Battletech and Alpha Strike on the schedule.

Though I am more of a classic player, there is nothing wrong in my mind with AS I just prefer Classic, I hope to get out and play some games at NOVA.

I might not be in the tourney though and just come for pick-up games.
