In the vein of the previous Siam class aircraft carrier...

The Bolido class is a as-close-as-possible counterpart to the Spanish Meteoro class of multi-purpose offshore patrol vessels.

The below boilerplate matches it virtually completely in engine and fuel outfit (to an accuracy of <0.1%!) as well as armament; the medium rifle stands in for the original 76mm turret, while the machine guns replace 25mm automatic guns. The real-life crew of the ship is 46, which is reasonably matched here.

It remains a boilerplate as the outfit presented below mixes the Meteoro's roles: It originally carries 30 troops in a patrol outfit or 20 scientists in a oceanographic outfit (or 20 other mission specialists in other roles); surge capacity of the original is 80 beyond crew for rescue missions. The original design is modular, so there's leeway for such a mix. Mission endurance of the original is 35 days, which is corrected upwards here - as overall endurance - to represent a full deployment cycle for the ship. For a less boilerplate and closer to one or another mission outfit for the original, balance supplies below differently.

[ Bolido class Offshore Patrol Vessel ]

   Tech Level C / Template B

   Displacement : 2860 tons full / 2368.5 tons light

   Crew      : 36 (6 officers + 30 enlisted)
   Passengers : 18
   Troops   : 28 (one platoon)
Surge     : 61 capacity beyond crew, including 43 in bays

Endurance : 120 days at sea (19.5 days with platoon embarked, 13.4 days at surge capacity)
   Range     : 6505 km at 17.5 knots / 32.4 km/h

   -- Ship and Equipment --

1118.5 tons - Chassis, Environmentally Sealed
    412.0 tons - Engine : 2/3 ICE
     41.5 tons - Supercharger : Sprint 4
    500.0 tons - Helipad
50.0 tons - Light Vehicle Bay (for VTOL)
100.0 tons - Light Vehicle Bay (for small boats)
    270.0 tons - Steerage Quarters (54)
      5.0 tons - Foot Infantry Bay (1)
      3.0 tons - Lift Hoist
      5.0 tons - Armor (82 points BAR5 Primitive)
      3.0 tons - Communications Equipment (3)
      3.5 tons - MASH (1)

   -- Armament --

5.5 tons - Medium Rifle, Turreted
      1.5 tons - Machine Guns (2), Pintle-Mounted
10.0 tons - Ammunition for Medium Rifle (90 rounds)
7.5 tons - Ammunition for Machine Guns (1500 per MG)

   -- Supplies --

268.0 tons - Fuel (for 6,505 km at Speed 3)
     32.5 tons - Consumables (for 120 days)
11.5 tons - Spare Parts (for 120 days)
6.0 tons - Supplies for VTOL
6.0 tons - Supplies for Small Boats

Overall, somewhat interestingly, Tech Level C BT ships, provided one chooses carefully, rather closely can match ships in current reality, provided one takes the citadel mode of current ships as environmental sealing.

Very nice!  Since most VTOLs are less than 50 tons, you can stuff extra food into that vehicle bay.  That would also more realistically reflect having to "unpack" the VTOL on to the helipad for flight operations.

Also, do large support vehicles get the "free" communications equipment as part of their controls?  If so, three tons of extra equipment works perfectly (as four tons allows satellite connectivity).

No free comm for large supports. Only WS/SS (5t), JS (4t), DS/SC (3t) and BM/PM/CV/ASF/CF/Satellites (1t) under current errata. They only need a single slot for all comm gear up to a full 15t set though.

Since most VTOLs are less than 50 tons, you can stuff extra food into that vehicle bay.
Which i'd treat as a house rule.

Then it might be worth throwing an extra ton into communications equipment...

Very nice. I just want to point out the the 76mm navel gun has a rate of fire of 120 rounds a minute. An AC-5 might be fair here.
