Good job.

What paints are you using with your airbrush?  I haven't used mine in quite a while, when I did it was for camo, the one time I tried a fade effect like you did, I found it easier just to paint it on with a brush.

Thank you! I used Vallejo Air Color. Barley grey for the light grey and black for the black. Gunze or Tamiya work better and are easier to clean in the airbrush, but they may add a glossy effect. It can be solved with Vallejo aircolor matt varnish (the only matt that worked for me) but it makes harder to add details. Hope this helps!

Gorgeous bird.  Gonna have to send the commandos in on the ground to secure me a few of them

Thanks for the tip.

When I did airbrush, I used Model Master Acryllics - they were perfect, they've just dried out over time and I can't get them antmore.  When I first got my airbrush, Tamiya paints were my first choice, but I found they either flowed too quickly or not quickly enough.  I should give P3 or GW paints a go - I have easy access to those brands.

You are welcome!

Don't forget to use distilled water and thinner to thin the Vallejo Game Color, Vallejo Model Color, P3 and Reaper. If you don't thin the paint it will block the airbrush in no time. Tamiya and Gunze work better with airbrush (you should use alcohol to thin them) and only alcohol is needed to clean the airbrush. Hope this helps!

Now some inspirational work! An A-90 modded...

I like to use testors enamels, with their brand of airbrush thinner myself. Clean up is something of a pain, but the colours go down easy.
