Here my others works:

I made the old Sea Fox logo before they become the Diamond Sharks.
the discription ins in Fieldmanual Ward Clans.

The Clan Potectorate is a combination of Clan Sea Fox, Haus Marik and Clan Spirit Cats

This shows the historical States who form the Capellan Confederation:

and purple top and yellow made below!

I have also used a gaudy neon green version, to commemorate an acid,
with the of the burrock eats into the stone.

Yes green circle the swords beneath the horses head vertically. Armor should be classic heavy plate.

He's right. I do pixel art (but not of this caliber...); PNG is the best way to go. It doesn't create huge files unlike BMP or TIFF, and doesn't compress like JPG.

And I second Delan's opinion. Doy's art would be great for CSO unit badges.
(Seriously- any CSO staff on here who want to chime in?)

So, we can request custom faction badges?

If that's alright, I'd like to request a logo for a mercenary unit. Take the Clan Wolf-in-Exile symbol, and make the wolf's head a black dog with a spiked collar at the base of the neck. Instead of the traditional backdrop of a bar with stars on it, replace it with an rust-red circle or something, whatever you want. Basically, they're different from Clan Wolf-in-Exile, but they are allied with their cause.

But the star should be painted red, not in white (why it looks more like the new Kerensky Star from Clan Wolf in white)

The bird certainly looks like the Marik Commonwealth emblem, which is understandable since the Clan Protectorate's capital planet is Marik, so the Clan rulers probably did that to appease the population somewhat. In terms of color scheme, my guess is that the background circle might be Marik Purple with the dark bars and Sea Fox Light Blue/Grey with the light bars, the eagle could be Sea Fox/Spirit Cat Dark Blue with appropriate shading to blend it in to the background, and the dagger star might be Sea Fox/Diamond Shark Red (from their old Clan logo with the red arrow) with Spirit Cat White highlights. Basically, something that blends the Marik, Sea Fox and Spirit Cat colors together.

I share your Idea but

I tole the Marik Commonwealth emblem and change it to more blue as purple.
Sure the Clan Protectorate's capital planet is Marik, alo is this hehind this the Sun of Marik who uprised from Marik planetary Flag. Also i made it Maik Purple and use a Yellow Sung for the light bars.

Sea Fox Light Blue/Grey for the light bars have not work Well.
I try a Mixed Version of white and red of the Dager Star but it was the same. (it looks not so good i have hopend)

And i came to the idea that both Clans have own version of the Insignia:

I think that non textured eagle is better with the white and blue star. The yellow seems to be a bit off though, maybe make that red like the color of the star in the first picture. Also the purple doesn't seem dark enough, though maybe its just my screen since I'm on a tablet at the moment.

I think too the Non Textured looks more like Modern Battletech Insignia.
the yellow i used the Sun like this Picutre of Marik Commonwealth:

The Purple is much dark but is diferent from Screen to Screen. But i edit a new Version to show the Purple better maybe is this nod dark enough for you. (it is posible to made it darker)

From BT dice and MW DA we know Clan Wolf his Crusader Wolfes wear a new faction log with a star and both Wolf Faction still use the classic Clan Wolf Insignia. but self the Warden Faction own a new Insignia with the Kerensky Star.

I made your Insignia with a dagger star in orange, like rusty metal
and like the golden warden Version of XTRO The Clans.
(look my post in the topic there is a small copy and a overview)
A red collar looks best to a black dog and is an omage on Clan Wolf.

i have refreshed the Marik Insignias
...and made my Own Version of Stewart Commonality
the Yellow Back Ground is replaced with Sky and the golden S with blue circle with a Red one (is closer to the Unit colors)
The Oriente Pritectorate is the Old Version from the first House Marik book.

I made the Classic Marik Logo new in zise like new Marik Insignia. ( All in zise of CSO )
The 1st Covenant Guards Insignia i have seen by CSO in the Battlemech Legs.

Augustine Alliance is a combination of all FWL Units who protect the alliance. Ever star stand for a planet and the big one in the middle on the Schield is for Augustine it self.

I have a request if you're up for it. I have been searching for a unit insignia for my Rabid Kangaroos but have not found anything to match what I want.

Size: 290x151 or a multiple on that size (335x220 etc)
Image: Wanting a Kangaroo mid jump wearing a flak jacket, helmet, armed with a mauser 960 (pictured in TRO 2750, not sure where else) and smoking a cigar.

Ha. No. The Wolverines spawned the Mammoths, Piranhas, Krakens, and Dingos - the Dingos were the last, weakest, and a slap at the memory of the Wolves who control the Kerensky Bloodline. After about 20(?) years, the five spawned again.

Wolverines spawned the Cave Frogs, War Ants, and Surf Dragons.

Mammoths spawned the Devil Wasps, Silver Condors, and Swamp Tyrant (Alligator/Crocodile hybrid).

Piranha spawned the Razor Bats, Dire Boars, and Frost Apes.

Krakens spawned Mist Stalkers, Ghost Shrikes, and Tundra Leopards.

Simply most time MS Paint PX or Vista Version plus Unlead Photo Impact and IPhotoPlus, when i need Alpha Chanel Adobes CS3 PhotoShop but the Major work is on Paint!!!
Paint made the fastest work.

I would like to update a unit insignia. We played this unit in 1985 to 1994. We were the 13th Armored Calvary. I am trying to update the unit and add in a later unit that we played, The High Plains Drifters. We had a kid that was working to become an artist and he drew up our first insignia. He is long gone now. If you would please help me out I would appreciate it. No rush, just when you have the time.

What I would like is an Ace of Spades with a blood red background with a thin black out line. A 13th placed in each of the Ace of Spades in a calligraphy style in white. Then a thin gold line inside of the small aces (a square)with a small oblong circle at each of the corners going inward. I seen the ace in a very old western deck of cards on display in Tombstone. A medium black rectangle on the top and bottom with Armored in the top one and Calvary in the bottom one in white with the same style of font as the number 13.
