I don't know how the sprues worked out but the Wolverine missile launcher would be a great Scrapyard bit if it can be offered. I'm planning on stealing the second off a couple of the new kit to do a Griffin 2N.

That Defender looks really nice. I have every other WarShip mini, so I'll definitely be picking it up to keep the set complete.

I would like to talk to Speck about doing the Amaris Battleship next or maybe the Cruiser class. Getting the ball rolling on the Defender makes me want to do another ship.

Like the Defender I would be thrilled to get that started. Defender was pretty cheap though and I have a feeling the Amaris would be alot more expensive (at least for me to handle alone!) for the sheer detail in comparison. Only Speck could tell us for sure. So I have sent him a PM!

Cruiser! :D

You could always ask Speck. But I can handle one warship a year, not two.

Is there anyway to add the Kruger Combat Car to the fan funded consideration list?  I really like the look of the art and stats.

Heck, I'm still waiting for the Wildfire, Prometheus and Epimetheus to be made into minis.

I was always disappointed that the Wildfire didn't make the Solaris section of TRO 3055U. Unbound even says that its prospects for production were excellent. At this point, the Unbound 'Mechs have to be some of the oldest published 'Mechs without minis.

Seeing the Prometheus done with the parts from the 2000s-era Omni resculpts would have been great. Unfortunately, we probably missed the boat. It might just have to wait for the 3D files from the current crop of minis.

Hey speck, I sent a message thru the IWM site after my last order came, but I'm a little confused on the new variant Wolverine kit. The new weapon sprue comes with with right side missile launcher and laser option, but the new arm gun sprue does not come with the left side launcher so the kit cannot currently build the 7K variant with dual SRM mounts. The left side launcher is on the sprue with the two arm guns in the standard kit so not sure the best way to solve that? Thanks!

All right, images/renders for the Spring Releases (Awesome 8R/8T , Lightning, Carrion Crow Prime
and Stormcrow B/TC) are up on the IWM site under the New Releases tag.

Surprised to see the Awesome 8T doesn't have symmetrical arms, but lookin' good..

I had to double check, but the Awesome 8R and 8T still have the Hand Actuator in the left arm so it's like the 8Q everyone's used to seeing with the fisty hand.

Just wanted to pop in and say that I received my Awesomes and they look... Awesome! No mold issues that I can see anywhere, and look like a breeze to assemble. Separate shins and feet should give a little variety in poses. I am surprised by the sprue layout, tho. The feet are on a sprue with the left arm that has the extra Large Laser for the 8T, then a sprue of the 8R right arm and left arm without the laser. Seems like the non-laser left arm is the same as would be on an 8Q, so would it have been easier to make that the arm that's shared with the feet for use in the future 8Q release? Either way, parts look great and I can't want to slap these together.

I just received the Lightning and it looks fantastic! No issues with the casting, an ever so slight mould like and excellent details! It just jumped the line to get assembled!

I love the gen1 IS omnis, I think they are even more versatile than Clan omnis. Clan omnis have various combat configs, be it missile boat, sniper, skirmisher, etc, but aside from adding TAG to make them an artillery spotter, that's really it. IS omnis also include command and support configurations that vastly increase their utility. My only gripe, is that I wish that some of the lighter omnis had C3M. There's a C3M Blackhawk KU, but it doesn't arrive until 3070. That said, I've given a bit of new life to my IS omnis by using parts from them to turn some of the new plastics into gen1 IS omnis. If they can use captured Summoners, Hellbringers, and Mad Dogs to make Avatars and Sunders, so can i! Lol. Here's my first painted one. I used a Summoner and Timberwolf parts(R arm and LRM20), added to a Sunder torso(I used the older version, had it laying around), to make the dual C3M Sunder OB variant
