For my Mad Dog B I used the ERPPPC barrels from the re-seen Warhammer, these ones, sawed the pulse laser barrels off one of the arms, and pinned one of those barrels to the other arm.  I then used green stuff over one of the LRM bays to represent SRM missile covers.

I made a mistake and only sculpted 10 doors onto the SRM torso though.

I just came upon this as I was trying to shop for bits for some omni-variants.  Dak is the man!  This document is perfect.

For those who have seen the parts up close, do you thin the Thor D arms or maybe the Loki A left arm part would work well to create the double plasma cannon arms of the Loki D?

On a similar note, any advice for converting a Nova Cat into an alternate config, ideally the B or even better, the G?

The Loki A would probably work fine, but the Thor D arm has two different sized barrels on it.

Personally, I like Siberian-troll's Nova Cat-B, although I'm not sure what all he used for it. Mars did a version that would work quite well for an easy conversion, using the LRM launchers from the Limited Edition Catapult.

Much like Psycho's up on Camo Specs, his N-C B has scratchbuilt pods. That's a little beyond me right now. Maybe I'll just order missile pods from a Grigori Prime, a few of those might work.

I was wondering if the barrels were different, so the Loki A arms it is. Thanks!

20-402B (Uller Arms/Weapon Pods sprue) is the same as OP-069 (Uller Right Arm Upper Sprue),
20-402 (Uller Prime) also has this sprue as a part of the 'kit'.

Any part that ends in a letter is from the main mini. 20-402B comes from the 20-402 mini.

Short form, no legit ways. The old Macross-inspired Marauder ain't a mini no more.

Nor do we encourage discussions on non-legit items on CGL's official site.

In terms of legit, you could track down an old mini on ePay and hack it up, but that would just leave you with the same problem one step on.

Gashapon (Japanese bubblegum machine toys) may work, or be too small. RoboTech Tactics Glaug pods are another source, but you may have to cut down their plastic legs to suit.

For really outre sources - track down MFUK Katyusha or Catapult K2 minis, but they're also OOP and rare. The legs share components with the old Unseen mini.

ohh. This isn't CGL's site or is it? Most of my entire collection is early early stuff and I want to be able to ask questions without causing issue. I did find someone but they are in australia, a bit far from california.

So what was the link that was in the 2nd post of this thread, must have been a big deal to make this a sticky thread.

I love the Woodsman Omni mech but dislike its chicken arms similar gripe with the KingFisher omni. Does this group have suggestions on which omni parts/pods would fit well to make alternate configs? For reference here are the models I am looking to modify:

You can do a search on the magnetized Omnis and some of the kitbashes I've done recently.  I just finished magnetizing a Mad Dog, with the Prime, A,B, C and S configs.  Needs priming before i paint it.
