(Answered) Battlemech Manual - Directional Torso Mounts?

BMM page 83 describes both the 2- and 3-point versions of the Directional Torso Mount, but on the Quirk Table(page 90), it does not specify which kind of DTM a quad mech has. How can I tell if a quad is meant to use the 2-point Front/Rear DTM, or the 3-point full turret DTM?

It's entirely dependent on the design itself, and isn't restricted to whether the mount is on a quad or biped.  The intent was to cover all the different types of turret-like systems we've seen in the game before they actually invented a proper turret system.  Give the 2-point version to anything with a less than 360-degree field of fire (like the original Unseen Grand Crusader), and the 3 point-version to anything with an unrestricted turret (like the Unseen Goliath).  It is possible to design a quad with a restricted turret setup, though I can't think of a canon one off the top of my head.

Blitzkrieg: 3-point
Blue Flame: Head (3 point), R/LT (2-point)
Sirocco: 3-point
White Flame: 3-point

I have no problem with the Blitzkrieg being an exception to the but that says 3-point DTMs are for quads only. :)
