it is going to cost a lot money to rebuild.  I would pump out SturmFeur parts... not whole tanks but just parts while they get the Dem C ready.  then update the SturmFeur like to C.  it will take a little longer but10- 20 million a week coming in would pay for lot of food and houses to be built.  do that for 3-5 months that would help a lot with rebuilding.  that is unless you can get the updated SturmFeur into production in less than a month or two.

John Ringo had a book where the talks about having to build infrastructure or weapons.  you need both but if you make fewer weapons short term you can invest in production and built more later.   but you have to have some weapons to defend what you are building.  (it was this Troy story line)

Tweaking it a bit more, 17 tons of clan Ferro is effectively max armor (1 point short), and can get you the 4 LRM-20s (and 8 tons of ammo with 5 Small Pulses) for a bit over 5.5M.

At about 4.9M, I see 20.5 tons of standard armor, 9 tons of ammo, 3 LRM-20s, 5 Small Pulses AND a half ton infantry compartment.

I was looking at the story about the taxes.  if the WiE make 10 tanks.  the FedCom get one for taxes and duke wolf gets 1.5 for taxes.  that would help rebuild the 3(?) Rgts and a militia unit on each of the planets.  Now do you want the tank or the money?

Star Colonel Alexia Vickers had modified her plan to maximize her chances of success. The captured Aegis Cruiser, Herald of Retribution materialized at a pirate point only a day from the planet and released the 4 Overlord Dropships she carried which began a high G burn for the surface.

There, she waited until the Word of Blake forces responded to the incursion, with 2 Zechetinu Corvette's from the Nadir Jump Point jumping to the pirate point 3 hours later followed minutes later by 3 Eagle Frigate's from the Zenith Jump Point. Captain Marsha Washburn, captain of the Herald of Retribution ordered the captured Aegis Cruiser to make the jump to the Zenith Jump Point already plotted and ready. She and all of the crew onboard both Aegis Cruisers were volunteers pulled from the SLDF, Clan Wolf in Exile and Clan Nova Cat.

The Herald of Retribution materialized at the Zenith Jump Point only 86,000km from the shipyard complex only minutes before the Herald of Wisdom materialized even closer at 27,000km. She released the 4 Assault Triumphs she carried, all of which were loaded with the 218 Elementals deemed combat fit of Clan Wolf in Exile. Captain Lawrence Sinclair ordered the Herald of Wisdom to 2G as the lone Vincent Corvette began getting underway to challenge the intruders. He zoomed in the magnification on the massive McKenna Battleship and said a silent thank you, for he could clearly see over half of the massive jump core protruding from the ship itself. The McKenna Battleship would not be a threat at all. But the Vincent Corvette was.

Enough repairs had been made to both captured Aegis Cruisers that they still had some combat ability. As the onrushing Vincent Corvette reached maximum range, Herald of Wisdom launched the first volley of White Shark Capitol missiles at the Vincent Corvette. The Vincent Corvette returned fire with a volley of Barracuda missiles. Before the first missiles reached their targets, the 3 Eagle Frigates had performed in system jumps and arrived at the Zenith Jump Point. Captain Sinclair had no choice and ordered the HPG message sent. Two White Sharks slammed into the Vincent Corvette blasting armor off. The real fighting began as both ships reached the range of their massive Naval Autocannons. As the Vincent Corvette let loose with a volley of NAC/10, she was answered by a volley of NAC/35. Two NAC/10 slammed into the Herald of Wisdom  causing the weakened armor on her nose to begin venting atmosphere, but the 2 massive NAC/35 slammed into the Vincent Corvette destroying both the front left and nose sections of the warship.

Captain Sinclair ordered his right broadside Naval Lasers to fire and they scorched most of the armor off the Vincent Corvettes left broadside. A quick order for his operational right rear NAC/20 bays to fire saw the Vincent Corvette going powerless but not before a last NAC/10 slammed into the right broadside of the Herald of Wisdom causing the paper thin armor there to let go completely.

While the Herald of Wisdom battled the lone Vincent Corvette, the Herald of Retribution was doing it's best to tie down the Eagle Frigates without having to actually fire on one of them for she was in worse condition than the Herald of Wisdom armor wise. She also only had one working transit drive which left her slow. Captain Washburn watched the 3 Eagle Frigates steadily closing on her badly damaged ship. Then the sensor's detected a MASSIVE emergence wave inbound. She watched as the 3 Eagle Frigates started to break off their pursuit, but it was too late for them. She watched in fascination as ships of the 1st Line Squadron began materializing and then the warships of Clan Nova Cat's Mystic Naval Star emerged. A radio broadcast made her smile broadly "Howdy all, it is not neighborly to pick on someone already whupped up on, so let us teach you all some manner's."

Aboard the SLS Iowa, Texas Battleship, Admiral Jackson Daniels smiled viciously as he gave the order to engage the enemy at will as they came into range. For the 3 Eagle Frigates, they had no where to run, no where at all. The ex-FWLS Lancelot was already trying to brake down and reverse course when the SLDF ships began emerging and she found herself only 486km from the SLS Sao Paulo, Victory II Cruiser and 631km from SLS Wisconsin, Texas Battleship. It was like swinging on low hanging fruit for the SLDF warships. SLS Sao Paulo cut loose with her 4 Heavy Naval Gauss and 4 Medium NPPC while the SLS Wisconsin opened up with her front left NPPC Bay and left broadside Naval Laser Bay. The Lancelot really had no chance at all, the massive naval gauss rounds ripped thru the ships armor as though it was not there, the Lancelot was dying even before the massive volley's from the SLS Wisconsin arrived on target. The Lancelot just seemed to break into pieces before everyone's eyes.

The Eagle Frigate, Galahad was a little luckier, she was too far from the massive Battleships and Cruisers, but not so lucky, she was within range of 3 Impavido Destroyer's, SLS Cuba, Lima and Waco. Galahad managed to get off a volley at SLS Waco hitting her with 2 NAC/20 and 3 NAC/35 shells which blasted massive amounts of armor from the SLS Waco left front and left broadside while destroying her left front weapons bay's. But her initial small victory was quickly countered when the return fire came back at her, SLS Waco left rear NAC/20 Bay's slammed home quickly followed by fire from the SLS Cuba and SLS Lima. The Waco's shots blasted the armor off the Galahad's front right facing which was followed in seconds by massive shell's from the SLS Cuba which burrowed deep into the Galahad's body detonating her forward ammunition magazine. The Eagle Frigate vanished in a massive explosion.

Eagle Frigate, Tristram found herself surrounded by Clan Nova Cat's Mystic Naval Star and though she managed to land hits on all 3 Nova Cat Aegis Cruiser's, she in return was pummeled by the return fire and quickly surrendered before her destruction.

While the naval battle at the Zenith Jump Point raged, the ships of the 2nd and 3rd SLDF RCT's jumped into the same pirate point used by the Herald of Retribution. They were followed an hour later by Clan Nova Cat's Tau Galaxy. For both the Tirana and Attica, Zechetinu Corvette it was a very distressing moment. Both Corvette's had been burning hard in pursuit of the enemy Dropships when they detected the emergence wave inbound but they were already outside the pirate point and unable to jump away. Both broke off their pursuit of the enemy Dropships and began burning for the Nadir Jump Point in an attempt to escape. Escorted by their warships, the Dropships of the 2nd and 3rd RCT's along with Clan Nova Cat's Tau Galaxy began heading for the planet's surface only 8 hours behind Clan Wolf in Exile's Beta Galaxy.

Clan Wolf in Exile's Elementals boarded the shipyard complex and massive McKenna Battleship and literally ran amok onboard. Within 3 hours, all the shipyards, supporting factories and the McKenna Battleship were in Clan Wolf in Exile hands.

if word gets out that the WiE recovered their battlewagon but that it can not jump.  that will make the WoB plans a little harder to swing.... but only after word gets to that part of space.   >:D

Led by the 22 remaining Omni Fighters of Beta Galaxy, the combined Aerospace force of the 2nd and 3rd SLDF RCT's and their warship escorts smashed the 2 Aerospace Wings from the 15th and 23rd Marik Militia in less than 15 minutes of combat. Sweeping low over the planet's surface, the Aerospace fighters quickly spotted the large prisoner compound and reported it to the incoming Dropships. Clan Wolf in Exile's Beta Galaxy were already entering the atmosphere when the call went out, but new reached the main force inbound. Quickly the 21st Illician Rangers, 2nd SLDF RCT altered course slightly, they would perform a combat drop almost on top of the prisoner compound.

Clan Wolf in Exile's Beta Galaxy grounded on the continent of Gaul not far from Lugdunum. Star Colonel Vickers deployed her forces and quickly moved to engage any enemy found. That enemy happened to be the 23rd Marik Militia which was heavily dug in on multiple supporting ridge lines around Lugdunum. The first assault by Beta Galaxy was thrown back. Star Colonel Vickers knew she would need assistance cracking the enemy's defensive lines. Clan Nova Cat's Tau Galaxy was on the way.

During the night of 2 February, the 21st Illician Rangers performed their combat drop on the southern continent of Ostia with the 55th Mechanized Cavalry, the infantry regiment assigned to the 21st Illician Rangers dropping directly on the prisoner compound and quickly overrunning the compounds guards while the mechs of the 21st landed 3km away and quickly moved to assist in protecting the newly freed prisoners. Making a normal landing 60km away, the 59th Strike Regiment, 2nd SLDF RCT landed and began moving to assist the 21st Illician Rangers. Their opponent was the remains of the 44th Shadow Division. While the 59th Strike fought the 44th Shadow Division, the 21st Illician Rangers, using many "loaned" hover vehicles to spirit the prisoners to safety as quickly as they could.

The 3rd SLDF Regimental Combat Team made their landings not far from Nova Roma and quickly moved to engage the defensing 15th Marik Militia. For 3 days the 15th Marik Militia managed to prevent itself from being overwhelmed by the 3rd RCT until finally being forced back into Nova Roma proper. On 7 February, the 19th Striker Regiment managed to pierce the enemies defensive lines. Before the rest of the 3rd RCT could take advantage of this, Precentor II Eric Goodwin, commander of the 15th Marik Militia's 4th Battalion detonated a series of neutron bombs that had been seeded throughout the city during the occupation along with several nuclear weapons annihilating both the citizens of the city but also destroying the 19th Striker Regiment and most of the 15th Marik Militia in the process. In an instant, 56 million people were killed.

News of the destruction quickly swept over the planet. Clan Wolf in Exile's Beta Galaxy and Clan Nova Cat's Tau Galaxy in a enraged state slammed into the 23rd Marik Militia's defensive lines with nothing but vengeance in their eyes. In 9 hours of brutal fighting they destroyed the 23rd Marik Militia to the last on 8 February.

The 44th Shadow Division had managed to pound the 59th Strike Regiment hard during the fighting, finally with the freed prisoners now safely away aboard Dropships, the 21st Illician Rangers entered the battle against the 44th Shadow Division pushing them back into a large box canyon several kilometers wide and deep. General Brenda Bradley did not hesitate and called in orbital fire on the now trapped 44th Shadow Division. For 3 hours, the orbiting warships fired on the box canyon until nothing was left.

On 11 February, elements of the 3rd SLDF RCT located the Wolf in Exile resistance fighters, 3 Omni Mechs and 22 Elementals led by Star Captain Skinner Ward. Questioning of freed prisoners revealed that Khan Phelan Ward, Star Colonel Ranna Kerensky, Star Colonel Chas Kerensky and several WiE warship captains had been held inside Nova Roma far from the prison camp. They were never found. The planet was declared secure on 14 February 3068.

On 8 February, aboard the Tirana and Attica, Zechetinu Corvette the crews were feeling lucky they got away, both ships performing braking maneuvers in preparation for making a controlled escape jump. That feeling of elation was quickly dashed when Clan Nova Cat's Mystic Naval Star leaped into the Zenith Jump Point. Word of the destruction of Nova Roma and assured massive casualties to the civilian population had reached the Fleet. Admiral Jackson Daniels had ordered the Mystic Naval Star to deal with both WoB warships with extreme violence, which they did. Both Zechetinu Corvette were destroyed and every escape pod was hunted down and destroyed.

56 million?  I think that might be the most the WoB has killed at one time yet.  THAT news needs to be forwarded to the rest of the Inner Sphere ASAP.  And I suppose that means Phelan is done for... unless, of course, he managed a miraculous escape just before the bombs went off...  ^-^

 2-28 February 3068
 Former Marian Hegemony Worlds

Per their orders, on news of the assault on Alphard, the scattered troops of the 42nd Shadow Division began releasing a modified version of the old but still deadly Ebola virus onto the worlds of Stafford, Addhara and New Venice. Like the old Ebola, the virus had a roughly week incubation time before frank symptoms appeared, but unlike the old Ebola virus this one was modified to be extremely virulent and airborne. Using aerial spraying, they maximized the spread of the biological weapon. After releasing massive quantities on all 3 worlds, the 42nd Shadow Division forces boarded their Dropships and fled the area.

As the Ebola virus rapidly spread across the worlds, panic set in, the worlds plunged into chaos and messages from the planet's began spreading across the stars. A virus long thought dead on Terra had once again been brought back to life but more deadly than ever. With no way to combat the virus, it swept across the 3 planet's and within a matter of weeks the death toll's had reached the millions.

Uhm, did you read the same OTL Jihad that I did? ???

Pretty sure one of the major requirements for any command element in a Shadow Division was a total mad-on for causing atrocities when you don't get your/The Master/Blake's way in things...

I will admit, that felt like an unsatisfying way to clear the Exile decks; however, the OTL wasn't much better on those explanations for any other faction either.

 5-25 February 3068
          Detroit

Duke Scott Mitchell's Task Force entered orbit of Detroit without incident. For a full 24 hours, the Task Force performed orbital scans of the surface, followed by massive aerial recon by over 150 Aerospace fighters. Targets were selected and the ground forces began their descent into the atmosphere.

Duke Scott Mitchell had decided to hit Detroit hard. His plan was:

Ann Arbor, planetary capitol - 6th Davion Guards RCT, 1st Argyle Lancers
  Dearborn - 2nd MAG RCT
Detroit Consolidated MechWorks - 1st MDF Galaxy
Detroit Consolidated Vehicle Works - 4th MAG RCT
Flint and Detroit Consolidated Aerospace - Wolf Dragoon Alpha and Delta Regiments, Zeta Battalion
  Michiana - 2nd MDF Galaxy
  Warren - CGB Zeta Galaxy

Clan Nova Cat's Xi Galaxy would handle the entire continent South. Warships in orbit would be available for orbital fire support on any targets far enough away from civilian targets.

The landings though widely separated were each heavily supported by massive Aerospace Fighter cover. On the continent South, Clan Nova Cat's Xi Galaxy rapidly fanned out sweeping the continent aided by advance aerial recon.

First contact came at Ann Arbor when the 1st Argyle Lancers hit a Battalion from the 1st Syrian Lancers which started as a battle of maneuver between the opposing forces until the faster 1st Argyle Lancers began flanking the enemy Battalion on both flanks. Panic really set in as the hover tanks of the 1st Argyle Auxiliary closed the door trapping the 2nd Battalion, 1st Sirian Lancers in a box. Within 2 hours, the Battalion ceased to exist.

The 6th Davion Guards RCT entered the city of Ann Arbor and quickly found itself in a deadly urban battle with the remaining units of the 1st Sirian Lancers. Flying nap of the earth, the 1st Sirian Lancer's Aerospace Wing lifted off from hidden air bases and managed to get one good air strike on the 6th Davion Guards RCT before being pounced on by the 6th's Aerospace Wings followed by other Task Force fighters. None of the 1st Sirian Lancers Aerospace fighters returned to base, but they had inflicted heavy losses to the 8th Bamburgh Heavy Armor inflicting 30% losses on the Regiment.

Despite the losses, the 6th Davion Guards RCT would secure the capitol city of Ann Arbor assisted by the 1st Argyle Lancers on 12 February.

The fighting for Dearborn was not as fierce as for Ann Arbor, but it was still deadly. It quickly became clear that most of the defenders were defending the Detroit Consolidated Mechworks and Detroit Consolidated Vehicle Works. For 3 weeks the combined power of the 2nd and 4th MAG RCT and 1st MDF Galaxy slugged it out within the sprawling factory complexes against the 3rd Sirian Lancers. The only reason fighting lasted as long as it did was for the ability of the 3rd Sirian Lancers to call upon the factories themselves for repair of damaged machines along with just commandeering new mechs and tanks for the defense. The factory complexes and Dearborn were declared secure on 26 February with both factory complexes sustaining heavy damage during the fighting.

Flint and the Detroit Consolidated Aerospace factory was defended by the 2nd Sirian Lancers but they faced Wolf Dragoons. The initial skirmish between the opposing forces showed that Wolf Dragoon's were in no mood to play around quickly smashing the 1st Battalion, 2nd Sirian Lancers in a fast 30 minute fight. Delta Regiment detailed the 75th Dragoons Heavy Armor supported by Delta's combined Elemental/Infantry Regiment to secure Flint proper. Flint was defended by the 2nd Sirian Lancer's Infantry Battalion which was no match for the Dragoon's and Flint was secured on 7 February. The fighting for the Detroit Consolidated Aerospace complex was vicious but the combined weight of both Dragoon Regiments led by Zeta Battalion destroyed the 2nd Sirian Lancers and the complex was secured on 8 February.

Michiana and Warren were quickly secured without major incident with the small militia garrison's there quickly surrendering to the overwhelming forces arrayed against them. The planet was declared secured on 25 February.

The commanders are Manei Domini and thusly not human any longer. They regard the rest of humanity as 'frails' with utter contempt. Frails are not worthy of the lives thay have and thier deaths are meaning less to them.

 1 March 3068
   Alphard

With the campaign to take Alphard complete, the Allied commanders were taking stock of their losses during the campaign. For Star Colonel Alexia Vickers, ranking Clan Wolf in Exile, it had been a bitter sweet campaign. The rescuing of Clan Wolf in Exile prisoners in addition to reclaiming the Werewolf, McKenna Battleship had been sweet. But the loss of both Khan Phelan Kell and saKhan Marco Hall were bitter pills. She looked down at her notepad where she was tracking her current strength. She had freed enough warriors to make good some of her Galaxies losses, currently techs were working on salvaging as many mechs from the 15th and 23rd Marik Militia as they could. The techs thought they could salvage possibly 40 Battlemechs with some work.

Beta Galaxy, Clan Wolf in Exile

  Wolf Spider Keshik - Disbanded
13th Wolf Guards Cluster - 45 Omni Active, 150 Elementals Active
2nd Wolf Legion Cluster - Disbanded
16th Wolf Guards Cluster - 40 Battlemech Active
2nd Wolf Strike Grenadiers - Disbanded
6th Wolf Guards Cluster - 45 Omni Active, 150 Elementals Active

Losses had been heavy but she felt this would be all she would be able to field including the freed Alpha Galaxy warriors. She had an additional 58 Elemental's but they and her 20 Omni Fighters would be stationed on the Werewolf. With the death of Star Colonel Darryl Kerensky, She took over command of the 13th Wolf Guards.

Since securing the planet, an additional 297 Clan Wolf in Exile personnel comprising 60% of Alpha Galaxies technical support had rejoined Clan Wolf in Exile. They had been hidden by civilians during the occupation. Already just over 800 of the freed space crew were on their way to the Werewolf to oversee the installation of the jump core.

Galaxy Commander Ajax Drummond, Clan Nova Cat Tau Galaxy, was doing the exact same as Star Colonel Vickers. His losses had not been bad enough that he would have to disband a Cluster.

  Tau Galaxy, Clan Nova Cat

Vision Keshik - 20 Omni Active, 20 Omni Fighter Active, 100 Elementals Active
9th Nova Cat Regulars - 30 Omni Active, 30 Omni Fighter Active
12th Nova Cat Regulars - Disbanded
  100th Striker Cluster - 30 Omni Active
274th Battle Cluster - 30 Omni Active, 30 Omni Fighter Active, 100 Elemental Active

He had sent a HPG message to Khan Santin West asking for orders. He still had Kappa Galaxy on Ballalaba, but his commands were still a very long ways from home and without easy support from the rest of Clan Nova Cat.

General Ariana Winston, commander 3rd SLDF RCT, took the loss of the 19th Striker Regiment hard. Salvage operations were ongoing and her senior techs thought they could make good the losses to her other 3 Regiments. She had also sent a HPG message to Terra informing them about the WoB's destruction of Nova Roma.

  3rd SLDF RCT

71st Light Horse Regiment - Active
151st Light Horse Regiment - Active
  19th Striker Regiment - Destroyed
  21st Striker Regiment - Active

General Brenda Bradley, 2nd SLDF RCT, was in a better mood than her fellow ground commanders. She at least still had all 4 of her Regiments, though the 59th Strike Regiment would be down a Mech Battalion and Infantry Battalion.

  2nd SLDF RCT

  Fourth Rangers - Active
  Ninth Rangers - Active
  Twenty-first Rangers - Active
Fifty-ninth Strike - Minus a Mech Batt and Inf Batt

In orbit, Admiral Jackson Daniels was beside himself, his Squadron, along with Clan Nova Cat's Mystic Naval Star had not lost a single ship. Clan Nova Cat had actually managed to capture the Eagle Frigate Tristram, though it was heavily damaged but still jump capable.

  Detroit

Duke Scott Mitchell now had to figure out what to do with Detroit now that he had control of it. If he just turned it over to local control, it was sure to be fought over by someone or fall back into the hands of the Word of Blake. And that last option just would not do, not at all. He had the Support Squadron moving to Detroit now to replace material losses. They would be here at least 2 more months resupplying. He wished Jaime Wolf was here for his council.

  Sudeten

Duke Jaime Wolf wished he was back with Duke Scott Mitchell instead of here dealing with the headaches of planetary administration. But at least the protests had pretty much stopped. A Clan Diamond Shark Dropship loaded with technicians had arrived and were already hard at work assisting Jared and the former Falcon lower caste in trying to get Olivetti Weaponry back online.

The best news was that the Federated Commonwealth, by order of Archon Prince Victor Steiner Davion had returned, released a substantial sum of funds collected from the worlds now under his administration. It was not a small sum either, 200 Billion C-Bills would go a long way.

Across 7 worlds, 200 Billion won't go as far as Jaime would like...  :-\

Detroit is a bit of a conundrum... sounds like it's time for a fax to New Avalon...  ::)

I'd probably concentrate that money just into the 5 inhabited planets at first. Building and setting up schools to get people trained to operate those Clan medical centers and such, followed by boosting the local industries, mining and agriculture as needed.

Actually setting up training facilities like Scott and co have done would be great idea I think too - it creates duplicate facilities for the FedCom and means people from the Lyran side don't have to travel clear across known space.

Once get the 5 populated worlds running again, then concentrate on those two other worlds - Stonarboi and Deweidewd - though they might need to set up mining outposts there to get materials and such early on.

the problem with the hospitals is one of the reasons that I turned a two different drop ships into a dedicated hospital so that they are easy to build and they move to planets that are conquered with the fleet and then stay there and are rotated out as needed thus easing the burden on infrastructure

 15 March 3068
      Sudeten

Duke Jaime Wolf had spent the last week looking at the different needs on the 5 populated worlds he had administrative control over and today he had to make some decisions. Sudeten and Graus pretty much had all the infrastructure they needed in place already. On Sudeten, Clan Jade Falcon had established Clan tech hospitals in all the major cities, but they lacked the trained personnel to use them. Graus had the same situation. So, after considerable thought and consultations with Loremaster Vickers of Clan Wolf in Exile Jaime had decided to found a large teaching hospital in Hamarr dedicated to training medical personnel in using Clan tech hospital's. He ear marked 3 Billion C-Bills to making sure the teaching hospital had everything it needed and to pay for staffing. A further 20 Billion C-Bills was set aside to build Clan tech hospitals on other worlds or to construct additional hospital's.

He budgeted 10 Billion C-Bills to modernizing the Space Ports on Sudeten and another 20 Billion C-Bills for the other 4 planets to do the same thing. He slated a further 5 Billion C-Bills to construct recharge stations at both jump points at all 5 populated worlds. This would pay dividends on Colmar, Blair Atholl and Dompaire that had more than a week transit time from jump point to planet surface.

He would be traveling to Graus in the next week to deal with protests against having any heavy military defenses on the planet. He was not sure yet how he was going to deal with this. Having no military of note stationed had not worked out too well during the Clan invasion. It irked him that he had to travel via commercial Jumpship, so he had slated 20 Billion C-Bills for 15 Royal Class Jumpships to be used inside the Protectorate from Mitchell Aerospace and Shipyards Demeter operation.

  Alphard

Word of the massive outbreaks of a deadly and rapidly spreading virus on Stafford, Addhara and New Venice had reached Alphard. Admiral Jackson Daniels was forced to dispatch a Buford II Corvette to each system to enforce a blockade, he removed them from the 2nd and 3rd RCT's naval support. Both ground commanders protested, but as the ranking SLDF Naval Commander, he had full control over the naval assets.

  Detroit

Duke Scott Mitchell still did not know what exactly to do with Detroit. General Maeve Wolf wanted it for the Dragoon's, but Scott had reminded her that the Dragoon's already had a new home.

Galaxy Commander Elianna Deleportis argued for the world to be turned over to Clan Nova Cat, which Scott tried to dodge as best he could.

Representatives for both the Magistracy of Canopus and Taurian Concordat had shown up each arguing that Detroit need to be turned over to each of them respectively. Scott had rebuffed both of their claims, for now.

He expected representatives from the Federated Commonwealth, Capellan Confederation and Fronc Reaches to appear at any second to make their claims on the world also. At his wits end, he sent a fax to New Avalon asking for guidance and hoping Victor would not just say "Mine". He needed a solution that would make everyone satisfied.

Scott keeps it for himself, see everybody is satisfied.
Now why have all these invasion fleets just turned up. :D
I wish I could get a good grip on reality, then I would choke it.
