Yeah I know, it has been a while but I am still plugging away on this alternate BattleTech universe. Clarion Call has always been at the core of my current BattleTech project which includes many different sub plots, like Technical Readout 3054: the Quicksilver Trials and most recently the Death of Brandon Howell: Elect a new Smoke Jaguar saKhan thread which you may have most recently seen. About two years ago I contacted drakensis about rewriting Chapter 6 of Clarion Call here which originally introduced Virgilia Truscott into the story. Unfortunately it proved to be too rapid of a departure from the canon timeline which has Cassius N'Buta as the Star Adder Khan at this time (3052). The original chapter six gave a little detail as we wrote him off but now he is back and I hope to show how things change because of Hanse still being around. That is the point of divergence I wanted to concentrate on and refocus. Also I tried to incorporate events detailed in OTP Revival Trials especially the opening which get to why Star Adder did not join the original Clan invasion.
