You already know everything the rest of us do.

If I had to guess, it looks like RS:VA is getting spread among multiple volumes, and this one will indeed only contain walking units, whether they're worn or piloted. Presumably, future volumes will have the rest.

Correct O0

This volume covers everything found in CGL RATs - as Weirdo puts it so succinctly, the "walking units".

I was hoping for a long time that we'd get something like this. It's going to have some overlap with RS: Klondike but there should still be a lot of great stuff in it.

Also, if they do another book for Vehicle Annex ground vehicle record sheets I'm hoping we get a full sheet for the armed Brunel dumptrucks that were mentioned in Klondike.
There's a RS Klondike?

With RS:VA for Industrial Mechs and Exoskeletons are coming out I wonder if really odd ball machines wills see the light of day.

I remember the Dumptruck on legs, but I can't find what it looks like anywhere. I don't think it will make it into the book.  :S

Do you mean this beauty? Nothing quite like the MiningMech Mk II from MD:DA graced the pages of TRO:VA so not a likely inclusion with the RS set unfortunately.

Nobody's forcing you to use it. What about players who might want to actually use such a 'mech in theirs?

Its a MiningMech MkII!  Ugh, i kept thinking it was ConstructionMech Mk III or something, thanks Pa Weasly.

Its fun having all-terrian Dumptruck.

I notice that the old MWDA industrial Mechs were renamed.  Though they don't mach the ye olde Mech Warrior Dark Age Record Sheets I's states like ForestryMech verse Crosscut (former using standard armor) and MiningMech verse Dig Lord/King (both Heavy Class while the former is a Light design).

Hopefully couple of surprises not shown in TRO:VAR will end up showing up when the book comes out.

Well, p. 198 of TRO VA does mention a ForestryMech derivative.

And pp. 228-229 do allude to various MODs, so here's hoping.

OTOH, some of the RS MWDA1 units were slightly off...

Wasn't there one that included a fusion engine and no heat sinks?

I hope that after Revival Trials they might consider to publish a similar product dealing with the Absorption War (BIG Blood Spirits, Burrocks, Star Adder conflict).

I could see the Absorption War being a Turning Point-type PDF, but nothing more. I mean the Blood spirits tok a major beating in that war. Makes me wonder how big the their touman was going into the Revival trials.

Write new ones...

There are plenty more possibilities already.

How many battles from the major eras were never covered in one already?

Agreed.  Still lots of battles/small wars that could be covered with Turning Points or other product.

But, let us get these next few items first before we dream up new ones.  I am starting to twitch again LOL

We have basically the whole entirety of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Succession Wars.

Turning points - Battle of Kyoto
Turning points - Kentares
Turning points - Comstar War
Turning points - nth Battles of Hesperus II
Turning points - Operation Holy Shroud
Turning points - Great Lee Turkey Shoot
Turning points - Operation Killing Stroke
Turning points - The Deep Raid of 2987

Write new ones...

Precisely.
Most of us writers are, well, writers. We will come up with some kind of conflict. ;)
