For those who played in the FGC'62, it was fairly obvious that Rush was one of my favorite bands.  Given that he died of brain cancer, which hits my own family close to home this week, and I'm finding myself at a bit of a loss for words.

RIP to a true master.  Rush is just good fun and great music.  Neil was the architect,  the professor.

To paraphrase a tweet I just saw, "Neil Peart was so good that John Bonham is trending.  The man is literally raising the dead."

Rush is the one concert I regret missing out on seeing.

First thing I did when I saw the news was go to Youtube and watch a couple of vids of him soloing. The man was the greatest drummer of his era and one of the greatest of all time, behind Buddy Rich and, maybe, Moon and Bonham. A truly  sad day for the music world.

RIP Neil Peart.

Great way to start the new year :'( :'( :'(

Never failed, everytime Rush came to town one thing or another would keep me from going to the show. Time to pick up a record player and break out my vinyl.

R40 for me, but Rush in Rio is still a good choice. Listening to 2112 as I type this.

It sure has been a bad few years for icons of Canadian pop/ rock music.  Leonard Cohen, Ford Downie, and now Neil Peart.  I knew he had been experiencing a great deal of physical pain the past few years (which is what led him to finally withdraw from Rush) but this came as a complete shock.

Mystic rhythms until the end of time Neil.

Cheers, Gabe
So, now I'm imagining people boxing up Overlords for loading as cargo.  "Nope, totally not a DropShip.  Everyone knows you can't fit a DropShip in a WarShip!  It's...a ten thousand ton box of marshmallows!  Yeah.  For the Heavy Guards big annual smores party."
--Arkansas Warrior, on the possibility of carrying Dropships as cargo in Warship cargo bays.
