I don't have a copy of TO handy but can you drop active mines with a vehicular mine dispenser?
-
Yes. Any land-type minefield is legal. Go nuts.
-
Ok. 'nother question do active mf work against WiGEs?
-
Nope. Must be something about the sensors they use, but active mines will only go after units using Jump MP. VTOLs and WiGEs are safe.
-
Well RATS! Was thinking of starting a WiGE race league. Each player can build a custom SV WiGE. (Guess just have to house rule it.)
-
look at drones }:) and boobytraps >:D
-
More importantly, why can we not create a WiGE Minelayer >:D
-
We can. CGL did. Fulmar Patrol WiGE, TRO:VA. Also is decently quick, and can carry over a company of foot troops. Those mines just won't go after other WiGEs, that's all.
-
You can't put a mine dispensor on a mech, can you?
-
As with everything else in this thread, TacOps has your answer.
In this case, the answer is yes.

Huh, bug report to SSW then
