I don't have a copy of TO handy but can you drop active mines with a vehicular mine dispenser?

Nope. Must be something about the sensors they use, but active mines will only go after units using Jump MP. VTOLs and WiGEs are safe.

Well RATS! Was thinking of starting a WiGE race league. Each player can build a custom SV WiGE. (Guess just have to house rule it.)

We can. CGL did. Fulmar Patrol WiGE, TRO:VA. Also is decently quick, and can carry over a company of foot troops. Those mines just won't go after other WiGEs, that's all.
