Thanks all, it was always my intention to return to the Clan Homeworlds in some form. Unlike the Cylons I've actually got a plan to bring it all together, hopefully it works out (now that I have a little more time to write)

Royal Meeting, Throne Room
Centrella Palace, Crimson
Canopus, Magistracy of Canopus
1st April 3120

There were rapid clicks on the floor as a pair of leather boots marched its way into the Magestix Throne Room on the capital world of Canopus. The man that wore the uniform wore a pure white military cut suit with dozens of combat medallions across his chest he wore a purple slash which had a golden broch. Under his right arm he had a triangular hat while on his left had a sword hung from his belt, his while hair was immaculately combed. He stood at attention looking at the Magestix who sat on the gold and red throne in front of him speaking with another aide, the Magestix was dressed in a dark green dress. When she didn’t immediately take him on the man made a throat clearing noise leading to her gaze being turned towards him, the man moved uneasily on his feet for a moment but remained standing the Magestix went back to speaking to the other woman.

“Lord Simeon Simmerson of the Wisconsin system” he finally said before making the awful throat clearing noise again.

“Welcome to Canopus” the Magestix responded dismissing her other visitor.

“Thank you my dear, I come to you on a matter of great importance” he said Simmerson was in his seventies perhaps eighties but Inner Sphere medical science made him look ten years younger, Magestix Ilse Centrella was forty-seven years old and in no mood for a man of his ilk.

       “How can I assist you?”

“It is my belief that Canopus” he said raising his arms to his side signifying the greater nation around them “is becoming more and more like the Succession States. The further we have pushed into the Inner Sphere the more we must adapt, the further our nation expands the longer our supply route.” He said making another throat clearing sound.

“How would you suggest ‘we’ do that?” She asked noticing his use of the term and repeating it.

“My suggestion would be that we set up Regional Centres of Authority to link Canopus to all regions of our nation.” He said clearing his throat another time, she did not want to spend too long speaking to him.

“You mean like the worlds that joined you when you became a part of the Magistracy of Canopus?” She asked she knew that the worlds nearest to the Wisconsin system relied heavily on each other for trade and defence.

“Exactly! HA! I’m glad you are aware of our efforts.” He said quite happy that she was aware, Ilse was far from being happy that one system had taken it upon themselves to declare authority but she was also aware that it was a growing concern within her civilian administrators.

“Yes, I thought you would be pleased which is why I have decided to devolve power to Wisconsin and allow it to remain at the heart of the Wisconsin Region” she said giving him his little prize “I have also decided that power will also be devolved to the Oriente Region which will have eleven systems, Guangzho Region of twelve worlds and Booker Region of twelve systems will follow suit.” She said explaining that Wisconsin would have the smallest piece of the devolution process. She could see the man’s face redden in anger but he remained silent. “Also, I have decided to recognise your defence force as a unit of the Magistracy of Canopus. It will be named the First Wisconsin Lancers and it will be responsible for the defence of your region.”

“Simmerson’s Own will be proud to be part of the Magistracy Armed Forces.” He responded clearing his throat again.

“Thank you, Lord Simmerson, for bringing this issue to my attention and for volunteering your unit for Magistracy duty our military commands will welcome another unit.” She said with a smile dismissing he man, he stood there at attention for several moments and then he turned and left marching across the marble flooring, he was annoyed that she had not given him all he wanted but he could work on it.

Demonstration, Council of the Clans
Andrey, Tukayyid
Independent Clan Space
14th April 3120

The Tri-Vid screen in front of the assembled Khans and Loremasters showed a Phoenix Hawk LAM flying into the frame as a fighter before converting into a BattleMech in mid air, its engines becoming the BattleMech’s jump jets as it came into a landing and stepped off camera firing its weapons. The Phoenix Hawk LAM was one of the original Land-Air-Mechs developed by the Star League Defence Force and the footage could have been taken from anywhere.

“This is the Phoenix Hawk IVC” Scientist Tualo said the fifty-year-old man could feel the anger emanating from the room, Land-Air-Mechs were banned within the Clans. “This design is based on the Star League Defence Force model of the same name but evolved with new technology to bring it into the modern era.”

“Why are you showing us a Stavag Land-Air-Mech?” Oathmaster Klick Lenardon of Clan Nova Cat asked angrily raising to his feet. Khan Canin Rosse was not present today and, as per the Council’s agreement the Oathmaster’s words were to be taken as if they were from the Clan’s Khan and the Oathmaster was to be respected as an equal with the Khans present. “The Founder banned them from our Toumans since our foundation. The Dezgra Inner Sphere has returned to use them but our Toumans remain pure…”

“We have been exploring their design, their construction and their capabilities since the Inner Sphere began using mass formations of Land-Air-Mechs…” Tualo began cutting off the large Elemental.

“We know their capabilities; they served the original SLDF” Khan Angela Bekker of the Rasalhague Dominion pointed out “we have also fought them on several occasions. Our warriors know how to fight them” she countered the Draconis Combine was known to use entire regiments of LAMs with their Special Naval Forces.

“Exactly” Loremaster of the Clans Sandra Ward said breaking in “they served the Great Father and they serve the new Star League Defence Force.” She said “now our Scientists and the Free Guilds on Tukayyid have created a weapon that we can all embrace…”

“NO!” Lenardon barked his huge Elemental frame still standing “these weapons are banned within the Clans; these weapons were outlawed by the Founder! They have no place within our Toumans.” He snapped staring at Sandra Ward his dark eyes blazing with anger “you have brought shame to your Clan and to your post, I challenge you Loremaster of the Clans Sandra Ward to a Circle of Equals and I call on this council to confirm that these weapons are banned and will remain banned forever!”

“I accept your challenge Oathmaster” Sandra Ward replied “when and where?” She demanded staring at the Oathmaster.

“Tomorrow, un-augmented in the main courtyard.” Lenardon boomed remaining standing.

“Fine, we will meet.” She agreed before turning towards the assembled leaders, she had no fear of facing her own mortality but she had already decided on her next step ignoring the anger of the large Elemental. “For now, you have all seen the demonstration model we now need additional resources and support to continue development and produce usable models.” Ward said “I call for a vote on the continued development of current test models of Land-Air-Mechs and to develop models which could be fielded by the Clan Toumans.”

“Neg!” Lenardon snapped angrily “warriors are bred to be MechWarriors or Fighter pilots not this Chalcas!” He said damning the project.

“The Rasalhague Dominion vote Aff” Angela Bekkar said if looks could have killed Lenardon would have killed the Ghost Bear leader where she stood.

“The Hell’s Horses also vote Aff” Loremaster Nathan De Laurel said “we have already developed a new type of Phenotype, the ProtoMech warrior which has been accepted into all of the Clans ranks, there is no reason we cannot adopt and adapt to another.”

“Clan Coyote agrees to this proposal” Loremaster Charles Koga said

“Clan Jade Falcon say Neg” Khan Jana Pryde of the Jade Falcons said from her table.

“Clan Wolf vote Aff” Khan Cade Kell of the Wolf Clan said briefly.

“The Sea Fox Khanates vote Aff”

“Clan Snow Raven also will vote Neg; we have enough fighters to maintain air superiority without resorting to the use of Land-Air-Mechs.”

“Clan Lynx also vote Aff” Khan Katrine Devalis answered finally.

“With Six votes for Aff to three for Neg the resolution is passed and development will continue.” Loremaster of the Clans Sandra Ward said looking at Klick Lenardon “regardless of our battle this council has spoken.”

“We shall see” he answered raising to his feet once more and marching from the chamber.

---

The next day Oathmaster Klick Lenardon and Loremaster of the Clans Sandra Ward fought hand-to-hand in the courtyard of the Clan Council. While Sandra Ward was quick footed, she had her youth and fitness she was no match for the hulking Nova Cat Elemental. Despite his advanced age of fifty-nine years old Klick Lenardon landed several crippling blows on the smaller woman shattering several of her bones as he methodically took her apart. Finally, the Nova Cat warrior smashed her skull under his giant boot.

Following the battle the Nova Cats bid for Lenardon as the victor in the battle to be the new Loremaster of the Clans but the other Council members instead vote Loremaster Chealsea Drummond of the Lynx Clan to the post. The appointment is seen as an attack on the Nova Cats as Drummond was born a Nova Cat but joined the new Clan when the Lynx formed. With the Lynx supporting the LAM Development resolution at least of now the Scientific Caste and Free Guilds of Tukayyid would continue now in public and with additional resources. To aid these efforts new Loremaster of the Clans Chealsea Drummond as her first she forms the Phoenix Cluster, named for the test Phoenix Hawk LAM which had been built, as a test unit for the newly developed LAMs. At the same time as this resolution, she also cuts orders for one of the Ebon Guard Clusters to be deployed to Clan Lynx space for “combat experience.”

Defence Line
Engadine, Inarcs Theatre
Coventry Province, Lyran Commonwealth
20th April 3120

A combined-arms battalion from the Fifth Coventry Cuirassiers had been deployed to defend Engadine from the Stone Spirit raiding party and things were not going well. The Stone Spirits were turning the Cuirassiers flank with their superior numbers and firepower. Just as the Fifth’s lines appeared to be buckling a green painted Archer BattleMech advanced on the enemy firing at all comers, somehow weapons fire targeted on the Archer left the BattleMech unphased, especially particle cannons which appeared to have little to no effect.

The Archer which on closer inspection by those at the battle was painted in multiple shades of green making it's armour appear almost plated like an ancient knight continued forward breaking Stone Spirit BattleMech after BattleMech with its unique mix of weapons first the Archer engaged its enemies with two five-tube Long Range Missile racks, as it closed four extended range medium lasers (one mounted the head, one in the torso and another at the top of the BattleMech’s thighs.) Finally, within close range the BattleMech opened fire with four six-tube short range missile racks. The seventeen missile tubes and four lasers burned multiple targets at once causing uncertainty in the ranks of the Stone Spirits allowing the Cuirassiers and militia to rally and force them from the world.

Following the battle the enigmatic pilot of the Archer refuses to formally identify himself, nor admit to being part of any particular unit. The only payment the Green Knight takes from battle is salvage enough to repair his Archer before leaving the planet on the next civilian transport. Across the Lyran periphery the legend of the Green Knight begins.

Diplomatic Meeting
Samantha, Taurian Diplomatic Consulate
Taurus, Taurian Concordat
27th April 3120

While the Taurians had diplomatic consulates which belonged to the Federated Suns, the Magistracy of Canopus, the Fronc Reaches, the Capellan Confederation and Free Worlds League on Taurus they also had a separate Consulate for independent visitors who wished an audience. In today’s case Star Captain Kev Rosse of Clan Nova Cat was one such visitor meeting with Marshal Carol Trenouth once more. The two sat in comfortable padded arm chairs and sipped a fruity green-yellow coloured drink from one of the Taurian Concordat’s outlaying systems.

“It is not that we see you as dishonourable…” Kev Rosse was trying to explain. He saw Trenouth begin to laugh “…we do not see you dishonourable but your tactics and the weapons you use are what my Clan has a problem with… your use of… nuclear weapons…”

“We must!” She snapped angrily, she was nearly twice Rosse’s age and had seen what their neighbours could do. “The Star League Defence Force had dozens of WarShips and ground troops, the Federated Suns and Nova Cats who have fought us have the same. The Taurian people have less systems, less technology and less warriors.”

“But your position is exactly why you should adopt Clan duelling rules…” Rosse suggested

“Bah! We cannot adopt such practices they are alien to us and our enemies other than the Nova Cats will not respect them.” She countered

“Fighting Trials against your enemies will improve your peoples self respect and conserve your numbers.” Rosse pointed out

“That is correct but your people have your WarShip fleet to back up that practice. The only thing that we have that can counter a WarShip fleet is nuclear weaponry.” She explained “we need ground forces that match an enemy AND warheads that can keep WarShips at a distance.”

“Your nation is at a disadvantage” Rosse admitted “but your commanders must learn that just because a WarShip is present it does not mean that it is always a threat…”

“WarShips are hammers which are used to batter nails into the ground. They are weapons and they are always a threat.” She countered

“But if you engaged your enemies honourably then perhaps those weapons nor your own weapons ever need to be used.”

“You Clanners have an interesting outlook” she said laughing lightly “if only you could make the Federated Suns understand that.”

“Perhaps they will in time” Kev Rosse said finishing his drink “they need to learn the correct lessons first, when losses mount a different approach is needed. The Clans learned this in our earliest years, we realised that we needed to make the most out of what we had and we had to conserve what we made and make it go further.” He explained “for now, I must check on our traders I am sure they are having equally interesting discussions if perhaps less philosophical ones” he said half joking as he raised from his chair “Marshal Trenouth I have arranged for two Donar Attack Helicopters to be transferred to Taurian Concordat ownership.”

“That is quite a gift” she admitted as she rose from her chair impressed but also suspicious “the SM1s donated previously have impressed within our military, Clan technology has taken the Saladin Hovertank and improved on it in every way.”

“These are but a token of our appreciation for your willingness to listen to our Clan and accept our attempt to make amends for our previous transgressions against your nation.” He said bowing slightly.

“I am sure we make the best use out of these donations as we can” she answered offering him her hand which Kev Rosse met with his own and they shook. “Until our next meeting” she said nodding her head respectfully Kev Rosse saluted in return by crossing his right fist across his chest in the Clan-styled salute.

Note: Yes the Green Knight's Archer is Agincourt with a couple of modifications (I may post)

Trial of Possession
Lucianca, Hell’s Horses Occupation Zone
7th May 3120

During a Trial of Possession for the system of Lucianca the Jade Falcons are defeated by Clan Hell’s Horses armoured units. During the battle the Jade Falcons refuse to fight duels with vehicles allowing the Hell’s Horses to employ their superior numbers of armoured vehicles, which were dismissed by the Jade Falcons as inferior weapons of war, they surround and bombard the Jade Falcon units while moving constantly. Unable to counter the Hell’s Horses superior numbers the Jade Falcons fight their way our of the Hell’s Horses attack and retreat from the system. A member of the Jade Falcons unit is young MechWarrior Malvina who is heavily affected by the witnessing of the other Clan’s so-called Mongol Doctrine.

After Race Interview, Second Race of Noisiel
Noisiel, Alarion Province
Lyran Commonwealth
14th May 3120

“I’m Irina Badurina of the Solaris Gazette and I’m here with Jonnie Mjalby on Noisiel following the end of this year’s Race of Noisiel.” The presenter a young woman with strawberry-blonde shoulder length hair, she wore a three-quarter length green dress. “Jonnie congratulations on your third-place finish here on Noisiel, may I ask why you chose to compete here instead of on Solaris?” She asked

“Thank you, Irina, it was a tough competition they have created a challenging course here.”

“All of the competitors clearly found it difficult three of the aircraft have been destroyed attempting to complete the course in time.”

“We all are trying our best” Jonnie admitted “it’s part of the challenge taking your aircraft as close to the ground and to obstacles as possible to shave off some time.”

“Which of course leads to my next question” she said smiling broadly glad he had brought up the aircraft “you chose a strange aircraft for your flight here. Normally you pilot a Protector Aircraft but you chose differently, could you let us know why you made that choice?”

“I flew a N-1945 Mustang here because its built here on Noisiel. Duke Alextep is quite inventive when he looks for entertainment. They brought back a design that is over eleven hundred years old specifically for the race of Noisiel, I thought why not pay a little homage to their efforts and reward them for their efforts in constructing these aircraft and the course.” He said expanding on the ancient design which was based on the P-51 Mustang an aircraft built during the Second World War on ancient Terra. He did not mention that Duke Alextep had also paid him handsomely to use the design instead of a modern aircraft and promised that he could keep the ultra-light aircraft following the race. “Honestly, I would love to fly on both Noisiel and Solaris but the races happen too closely together unfortunately.”

Clan Border Fighting
Wolf Empire
18th May 3120

The Star League Defence Force and the Protectorate Guard units strike at Miaplacidus, Avellaneda and Abaden finding that Clan Wolf forces have abandoned all three systems, at the same time invasions and conquests of Angel II and Oceana are confirmed as is fighting on the world of Marik, ancestral home of the Marik family. Although well-fortified Marik is ill prepared for the battle-hardened warriors from Miaplacidus, Avellaneda and Abaden falling back on it along with their WarShip support. Within days of the Wolf landing the world’s fate is decided with Free Worlds League, mercenary and SLDF forces streaming off the world in retreat, four WarShips are left broken in the system by the Wolf onslaught, the MS Mordred, an Eagle-class Frigate, the MS Triton, an Agamemnon-class Destroyer, the MS Corrine Marik, a Venturer-class Light Cruiser, and the SLS Pathfinder, an Otey-class Battleship. Six Wolf WarShips remain in the system all in various damaged states.

In the aftermath of the battle for Marik the Fifth Marik Legionaries absorb the survivors of the Fifth Marik Protectors Regiment after both take heavy damage on the world. There is a minor outcry in the Parliament on Atreus as the Protectors regiments were formed as a force answerable to Atreus and not the member Districts however as the Protectors command structure is non-existant there is little chance of reforming the unit which fought weakly in battle against Clan Wolf, instead it is allowed to die quietly. Further questions are raised by the Parliament over the Star League Protectorate’s claim over Miaplacidus, Avellaneda and Abaden, all of which were once Free Worlds League systems however the SLDF bled for the worlds and as is pointed out by more than one member of Parliament “Ownership is nine tenths of the law.”

Elsewhere Lyran Commonwealth forces engage Clan Coyote on New Wessex and Yedi Posterior in the Clan Occupation Zones defeating the Coyotes on New Wessex. While the Lyrans are successful on New Wessex they fail on Yedi Posterior. Unable to hold an isolated system they are forces to retreat before being overwhelmed. Before the Coyotes can move in the Rasalhague Dominion move troops onto New Wessex securing it and the corridor of space which had led toward Vega. The reaction by the population on New Wessex surprises many observers, following the return of the Rasalhague Dominion their troops are welcomed with parades through the streets of every major settlement. This reaction shows how Clan indoctrination can take over a populous.

Capellan Confederation/Star League Peace Agreement
Terra, Star League Protectorate
22nd May 3120

Lights lit up to show Star League Commanding-General Victor Focht standing beside the Star League Ambassadors to both the Capellan Confederation and the Magistracy of Canopus. Victor Focht stood at the microphone and spoke first “Ladies and Gentlemen of the Inner Sphere and of the nearby periphery today I can announce at a Cease Fire to the Hostilities between the Star League Alliance and the Capallan Confederation Alliance.” He said bringing in the Star League, Free Worlds League and Federated Suns on his allied side against the Capellan Confederation and Magistracy of Canopus on the other.

“What started with heinous acts of violent and the use of orbital bombardment by Capellan Confederation will end in peace. In the interim the Magistracy of Canopus government will take stewardship over the systems of Fletcher, Calloway, Las Halles and Carbonis. They will continue humanitarian aid efforts and allow access to the worlds in these systems to both Free Worlds League and Star League observers and agencies in an effort to locate survivors.” He said glancing at each of the Ambassadors but allowing neither to take the stand “failure to allow observers and aid agencies into these systems will see an immediate end to the Cease Fire and a forfeit to control over all four systems.” He said “contrary to the words spread by some the Star League was created, Star League of the Camerons, for the protection of humanity. We want peace but know this should you bring war to our borders we will ensure that you pay a heavy price.”

Unreported at Victor Focht’s press conference is that the Capellan Confederation will continue to benefit from the use of the shipyards in the Fletcher system while the Free Worlds League will have full access to the worlds in the systems and be allowed to take whatever resources which have not already been tapped by the occupiers. In all the agreement is little more than a complete surrender by the Capellan Confederation.

With ownership over four more systems and systems which are deeper into the Inner Sphere than the nation has ever controlled previously many experts begin to take an even closer look at the Magistracy of Canopus than before. The so-called Periphery nation now stretches as deep into the Inner Sphere as many of the Clan nations, while they control far less ground forces or naval vessels than most other nations the strides, they have taken have impressed many observers. The territory controlled by the Magistracy also begins a new debate in the Inner Sphere, does territory relate to a nation’s military strength or is it defined by something else. Many point to the recent changing of the hands of the system of New Wessex which after being “liberated” by Lyran Commonwealth forces from the Coyotes quickly welcomed the Rasalhague Dominion back with open arms and celebrations.

Command Complex, Sub Complex 4
Buena, Buena Archonette
Alarion Province, Lyran Commonwealth
30th May 3120

Deep underground on Buena Archonette Kelly Varnay could communicate with any world within the Buena Archonette and the wider Lyran Commonwealth, it was a seat of power which rivalled any other within the nation.

“Archonnette Varnay!” An aide called rushing over to the command table it was his eyes which caught her eye they were full of fear. “Unknown elements have breached outer defences and are proceeding through the upper levels!” He said rapidly clearly panicking.

“Who’s forces?” She demanded there had been no planetary invasion, Buena was at peace the nearby Stone Foxes were giving her nation the peace it needed.

“Unknown Archonnette” he said as weapons fire was heard along with explosions which were getting ever closer. Elsewhere in the command room weapons were being distributed among the personnel present. Even as Kelly Varnay readied her rifle the main doors exploded open, she recoiled at the explosion but quickly readied herself for who was entering. She did not understand how the facility had fallen so quickly there were hundreds of personnel between the surface and her current level but the invaders had made their way through the facility in less than thirty minutes…

Suddenly through the broken doors and smoke stepped two Infiltrator III Battle Armour suits their weapons raised but no fire coming from them. On the chest there was the symbol of the Lyran Commonwealth. “HOLD FIRE!” Varnay commanded still holding her rifle aiming at the suits but not firing her weapon “what is the meaning of this?” She demanded holding her position she realised that the invaders had made such quick progress because only her strongest supporters had resisted the attack.

From behind the two Infiltrator suits stepped Archon Jessica Steiner, the leader of the Lyran Commonwealth, she wore a full set of army BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) and carried a rifle which was presently lowered. “This is the end of you Kelly Varnay!” She boomed angrily “By my order you are all ordered to stand down and face appropriate judgement at a Military Tribunal.” She said speaking to the entire room “some of you may not be aware but the Archonette has made weapons deals with the Cirincus Federation.”

“To weaken the Stone Spirits!” Varnay seethed angrily

“Dealing weapons and technology to an enemy state of the Lyran Commonwealth is treason and you will be judged as such” Steiner said meeting Varnay’s anger with her own. “You have done some fantastic work here on Buena but did you really think that Tharkad was not watching?” She asked incredulously “our duty is to protect the Steiner people not deal with our enemies!”

“My duty is to Buena and…” Varnay said gripping her rifle tightly one movement and she could cut down the Lyran Archon.

“YOUR DUTY IS TO ME!” Steiner said angrily with the raising emotions both Infiltrator III suits raised their own weapons and took a step forward partially obscuring the Archon behind them another pair of suits and dozens of conventional infantry troopers stood ready to enter. “STAND DOWN NOW!” She ordered looking around the room “any of you who walk out now will be dealt with leniently, anyone who stays…” she stooped allowing them to figure it out themselves. Several people from Varnay’s side moved but the Archonette spoke before something else happened.

“It is I who will stand down” she said throwing her rifle down “no-one else needs to die, everyone guns down!” She said as conventional troops rushed into the room two rushing towards her and placing plastic cuffs around her wrists. Archon Steiner stepped up to her “I did this for the Commonwealth Archon, turn our enemies against each other, weaken them both.”

“You did it for yourself, ambition has always been the weakness of your family, grabbing for power that is not yours” she replied referencing her father’s efforts to oust the Davion family from the Federated Suns. “There was a right way for you to accomplish what you wanted, but you chose to do it your way. Build a powerbase which could be seen as one against the Lyran State and against my family, I won’t allow history to repeat itself.” She said glancing at guards “remove them all, I want the ground cleared.” She commanded, Jessica had hated having to act against Buena and Varnay in such a dramatic and final way but she would not take disobedience from someone in a place of power like Kelly Varnay had been.

Elsewhere within the Archonette Lyran Special Forces were capturing or taking out Varnay’s strongest supporters putting an end to the region’s disobedience, already she had ordered that all weapons sales to the Cirincus Federation to end immediately. Some may have seen her actions as extreme, Varnay had sold weapons to an enemy state it wasn’t like she was openly planning on attacking the Commonwealth or attempting to overthrow House Steiner but her actions were clear disobedience and the resistance her forces had encountered on Buena proved to Jessica Steiner that the Archonette was no fan of the Tharkad leadership. Out of the hundreds of personnel working in this complex only a few dozen had attempted to resist her but that was possibly a drop in the ocean compared to what could have happened had Varnay knew the Archon was coming.

Things she could not chance happening. Leaning on the command table the Archon looked around at the mostly empty room “If” she whispered “what we do because of it” she muttered quietly thinking deeply.

If she had come here openly and Varnay had openly resisted.

If she had been forced to annihilate the defenders of Buena.

If her people had refused or failed to defeat those that defied her.

If that resistance caused her enemies inside and outside of the Lyran Commonwealth to act.

do we have the stats for the N-1945 Mustang??

It's essentially the same stats to XTRO 1945 P-45 Mustang except remove all the weapons (i think that frees enough for a Supercharger and additional fuel but I didn't look at it too deeply)

It's essentially the same stats to XTRO 1945 P-45 Mustang except remove all the weapons (i think that frees enough for a Supercharger and additional fuel but I didn't look at it too deeply)

Thank you...  now wondering what you could do with a P38, or F4U...  Without guns weights.

Ah, the Mustang is P51, IIRC. That said, you know, of all the worlds likely to dredge up 1945 tech just for the fun of it, Nosiel is definitely in the top 5!

Whoops yeah the P51 😂wee typo there

Only a few places I was tempted to use Noisiel made sense to me so they made the remote controlled tanks for death match "World of Tanks" style games while the fighters fit more with the Race of Noisiel idea

She's been there for quite a while in I can't remember exactly when she was introduced but she originally fled to the Capellan Confederation then joined the LACF rising to the rank of Kommandant. She became quite the celebrity stopping the Fire Mandrills and creating the Fesnyang units based in the Commonwealth

I wrote a storyline years ago for this timeline introducing her. I noticed the Lyrans had pretty much an undefended border with the Stone Spirits and they being Stone Spirits, they blitzed, rushing towards the main Lyran shipyard. She commanded a militia unit in the way and helped keep the Stone Spirits at bay long enough for the Lyrans to get their act together. That unit became the building block of the Fensyng units.

Character brief for those who need it:

The character herself was secreted out of the FedSuns in the days after the Varnays pulled their stunt, eventually coming to the Lyrans, trying to find a place for herself in the Inner Sphere. She lucked out in showing herself competent in the middle of said blitz, and was selected to build more Fensyng units.

Due to politics, the Lyran Archon kept her away from multiple things that that then happened. And when Kathy Parks became Archonette, again due to politics, her son was transferred to Buena, where she was promoted to her Chief of Staff.

Parks built up and laid the ground work for the Archonnette, including multiple times politically fighting the Archon as she refused to back down and be a figure-head Archonnette for the Archon. When she died, the Archonnette passed to Varnay, who kept up that stance. Both selections were done because the Estates General interfered using what power they had to pretty much get Jessica's attention due to how the realm was being run then.

From when I was writing her years ago, she was popular with both military and civilians, had a firm head on her shoulders, and was publicly and privately loyal to the Lyran realm at large, but didnt have the trust of the Archon's senior staff, most notably her husband. Not sure how Dragon Cat will write her, but will be eating my popcorn regardless :)

Also great updates Dragon Cat! Hope you continue!

Forty-seventh Star League Games
Star League Stadium, Solaris VII
Independent Clan Space
4th June 3120

On the sands of the Star League Stadium on Solaris VII MechWarrior Nikhail Jade Falcon of the Clan Jade Falcon wins the competition marking the fifth time in forty-five successful Star League Games that a warrior from the Clan had successfully won the competition. With the Eighteenth Games cancelled by armed conflict and the Twentieth interrupted by a terrorist attack. The victory also marks the second time a MechWarrior piloting a Gryfalcon BattleMech, this one a different variant than previously, has won the competition. During the conflict regular season competitor MechWarrior Vlad Carlyle enters piloting a modified Templar OmniMech coming in fourth place.

An ever presence on the world of Solaris Star League Intelligence agents look into MechWarrior Nikhail finding he is a warrior with no history in the Jade Falcon Clan. Although Solaris has a heavy Clan military presence and is administered by the Clan’s Free Guilds and the Loremaster of the Clans the SLIC has several assets on the world and they find that every member of Clan Jade Falcon who entered the competition on Solaris was an ungraduated Warrior of their Clan and the Falcons had used it as a testing ground. They find that the warrior were all from the same gene-house and after analysing their fighting styles note that these Jade Falcon warriors ignore the Clan disdain for physical attack and combined fire.

During the competition executives of the Solaris Racing League meet with representatives of the Niosiel Racing Competition regarding a multi-planet race using conventional aircraft involving both systems racing circuits.

Nadir Jump Point, Bulwark (Halcyon-class Cruiser)
Staplefield, Lynx Occupation Zone
14th June 3120

The Hell’s Horses WarShip Bulwark had jumped into the Staplefield system which was controlled by Clan Lynx where they had been challenged by Lynx sentry craft. Still building a Touman the Lynx had lacked sufficient WarShips or DropShips to patrol every system so instead the challengers two modified TIG-15 Tigress Gunships. Not looking for an armed conflict with the Lynx Clan for no reason the crew of the Bulwark had invited the gunships onboard to discuss free passage.

Boarding the Bulwark the four-person crew of one of the Tigress Gunships were surprised to come across Khan Teresia Cooper. “Gentlemen welcome onboard the Bulwark; I am Khan Teresia Cooper”

“Star Commander Lexington, Guardian Point of the Staplefield system” the older man said he was easily in his fifties. “Why are you in our system?”

“Passing through to strike at the Inner Sphere.” Cooper answered

“We were not informed of your arrival; your presence will be reported to Clan Lynx authorities.”

“Of course, it will” Cooper responded “however our strike is time sensitive.”

   “Orders are orders” Lexington responded

“I completely agree and will make our apologies with Isorla to answer for your challenge?” She suggested seeing the confused look on the Lexington’s face “you challenged our WarShip and you are correct we have no right to be in this system, however I do not have time to waste waiting for your Clan to clear us to travel and I do not want to kill you. So, I will offer you Isorla for your challenge and permission for us to move on. You will pass our Isorla onto your Clan as an answer to your superiors why you let us pass.” She suggested, she could see wheels turning behind the man’s eyes “it is a victory against insurmountable odds Star Commander, take the win allow us on our way.”

“What is your offer of Isorla?”

“We will transfer a single point of Gnome Battle Armour suits to your craft as payment to Clan Lynx for your victory.” She said suggesting to the man that he was coming out ahead, she did not need her Clan being delayed.

“I agree to your Isorla terms Khan Cooper.” He said saluting her by crossing his fist across his chest the Hell’s Horses Khan responded by saluting the Lynx warrior with the same salute before turning and leaving them at the docking bay. Within an hour the five Battle Armour suits had been transferred to the Tigress and the Bulwark quickly made its way out of the system.

Anti-Government Protest
Rudigen, Altenmarket Province
Rasalhague Dominion
22nd June 3120

The balance sought by Clan Ghost Bear and the former Free Rasalhague Republic had been a delicate one for decades with the Rasalhague Dominion government monitoring and shutting down protests quickly however every now and then a public protest flared up like the one which was currently being staged in the capital city on Rudigen. While it was peaceful the several hundred protestors marching through the city calling for the end of Ghost Bear “domination” over the population.

Angela Bekker, Khan of the Ghost Bears and leader of the Rasalhague Dominion, stood with the Administrator of Rudigen City on a balcony overlooking the protestors as they assembled in the square opposite the City’s main administration block. The Watch had informed her of the protest and their inability to stop it so she had attended herself, now she would address the crowd. The Khan did not like addressing the freeborn population but she saw little other way of calming them and making them understand that the Strength and Prowess of the Ghost Bears was all that was giving them their freedom and that some freedoms needed to be sacrificed.

As she stepped out into public view on the balcony several shots rang out the first two struck Administrator Kate in the chest while the following three shots struck Bekker in the shoulder and the side of the head both of them went down immediately with large pools of blood. With the sound of gunshots and the imposing Elemental Guards watching them, the gathered crowd panicked which was intensified as the Ghost Bear Elementals based around the administration block fired tear gas into the crowd to disperse them, the tear gas and panic caused the crowd to stampede in multiple directions causing dozens of deaths and hundreds of injuries.

With the use of tear gas against civilians and the injuries from the stampeding protestors more aggressive factions of the population come out turning the whole situation a lot worse with what amounted to a riot. Cached weapons which had been hidden for decades were brought out and turned on the Ghost Bears as those employing them hoped for the violence to spread beyond Rudigen City and beyond the system of Rudigen. With the factions lashing out and destroying everything in their path the Lassenerra saw no option other than to bring heavier weapons in to quell the violence, regardless of the rationale adding more weapons could do only one thing.

Lassenerra’s order unleashed a wave of violence on Rudigen City which had not been seen since the early days of Clan rule on the world with points of Ghost Bear infantry and Battle Armour moving rapidly through the city stopping rioting citizens with levels of violence only a military force could match. And matched they were as Planetary Garrison Clusters manned by freeborns who had been born on Rudigen as part of the Rasalhague Dominion’s attempt for worlds to be completely capable of self-defence mobilised into Rudigen City and forced Lassenerra’s troops to pull back to their staging base. While the Garrison Clusters were under the saKhan’s command they had defied orders which had held them in their bases and they had moved to defend the city.

As dawn broke news passed that Angela Bekker had died of her wounds and the people of Rudigen braced for more violence this time against Lassenerra’s troops and the garrison clusters which had remained in the city all night maintaining order but it never came. The troops had been preparing for operations but they had not been needed as one person stood up and halted any further movement Planetary Administrator David Bekker former saKhan of the Rasalhague Dominion and now the leader of the world. “We are Ghost Bears, we are family, we do not bring war to our own people. This is not our way, this has never been our way, I will not allow it to ever be our way. We built this Dominion with the people of Rasalhague, we will not tear it down.” He had said while standing completely unarmed in front of the military base which saKhan Fulk Lassenerra was based within, while David Bekker had no standing within the Touman his words carried weight and none of them truly wished to bring conflict upon their own people. With the Garrison Clusters maintaining peace in the City Lassenerra called for all of his troops to stand down as well.

Trade Mission
Victoria, Victoria Commonality
Capellan Confederation
3rd July 3120

In what was essentially an ambassadorial role Star Captain Kev Rosse and the Nova Cat trading party had joined Taurian Concordat traders on a trip into the Capellan Confederation. Rosse had trusted the Taurians “vouching” for his crew would gain them access to Capellan space without an official invite and it had worked. Now the Nova Cat Merchant Caste members were making trades with locals while Kev Rosse oversaw them.

“Star Captain Kevin Rosse?” A woman of Chinese descent asked coming up beside him she had black hair and wore a purple V-necked top, she was easily fifteen-to-twenty years older than Rosse.

“Kev Rosse” he corrected her “the scientists decided I did not need the ‘in’” he joked, during his time with the peoples of the Inner Sphere he had begun to realise that they appreciated a little humour during their encounters.

“Of course,” she said “are we able to speak privately?” She asked indicating for them to move off.

“Aff, they seem to have things in hand” he agreed following her.

“You are quite young for a Captain” she suggested as they walked together, she led him away from the trading market and down towards a footpath that walked along a river.
“Those that lack rank at my age are heading towards the garrison units. I have my rank and my name.”

“Kev?” She asked looking back at him

“Neg, my bloodname Rosse won through combat.” He explained

“Ah yes, I was told that your people fought over names, otherwise you have no name.” She said with a smile.

“We have the name of our Clan” he said defensively “but our names have meaning, they have honour and a link to our past.”

“Much like my name does I am Madam Marie-Li DeMichele-Hong, but please call me Marie.” She said seeing his interest “my parents were from the Capellan Confederation and from the Federated Suns originally I inherited names from both sides of my heritage.” She explained “my name carries my history, my heritage and my honour.”

“Aff, it does but you were one of perhaps a couple of children?” He asked she nodded giving little away. “I was a child of thirty born in my geneclass to the same geneparents. Two of us have won the right for our names to continue the Rosse name.” He explained “while we do not have the same connection to our parents as freeborns have it is our honour to carry our Bloodnames.”

“So many of your words are different from ours.” She revelled talking to them as they walked along the path, he was unsure how far they had walked.

“Which is one of the reasons behind our interest in making connections with the Taurians and your people.”

“It is a little afront to us that you approached the Taurians before the Capellan people.” Marie explained

“Aff, but would you have welcomed us with open arms Quineg?”

“Probably not” she admitted the Capellans had little experience dealing with the Clans and would very likely have been hostile especially one who was known to have links to the Federated Suns. It was one of the reasons she had drawn this duty as some of her Maskirovika commanders believed her Federated Suns mixed lineage would set her up well with the “so what is Clan Nova Cat looking for from this new relationship?”

“Fair trade between our peoples” he suggested but saw her face twist “we know it will not happen overnight but we are willing to work with you if you are willing to work with us…”

“Perhaps we can work on something” she admitted “in fact your arrival here is quite fortunate” she said stopping walking turning to face him. “The Capellan Confederation is looking for industrial air and water purifiers. We could re-tool a industrial centre to produce these but if Clan Nova Cat were willing to trade them to us then that could be a step in the right direction.”

“That is a possibility, although they will be of Star League vintage that is not a technology the Clans have ever invested much thought in.” He warned her

“Even Star League-era equipment will probably match what we could produce ourselves. What would you be looking for in return?”

“There are things we cannot produce ourselves. Certain compounds that a nation with a larger industrial base would be better suited to produce and things that you will have more experience than us constructing from scratch.” He explained

“The more cryptic you be Star Captain the harder it is for me to say yes or no to.”

“One specific area we are looking at is for is that of Stealth Armour…”

“Straight for the throat, you Clansmen don’t beat about the bush.”

“Neg, no games, just honesty. While our new partnership does not by any means hinge on your decision to provide us with such armour it is a preferred trading target for us.” He admitted

“I can try to fulfil that request and if we are unable, we will provide appropriate compensation for what you produce. Perhaps if you were able to produce two of our purifying units and we saw them in operation we could trade something other than military equipment in return and then we could move forward with other trades as more were produced would that be acceptable?”

“Aff, I think it would work for us. I will discuss with our leadership once I return home. In the meantime, to prove our commitment to peaceful and fair trade I have ordered a Pack Hunter BattleMech offloaded from our DropShip and transferred to Capellan control.”

“You talk about peaceful and fair trade and you start by providing us with a BattleMech?” She asked laughing a little “how very Clan of you.” How the relationship between the Capellans and the Nova Cats went was anyone’s guess but so far Marie saw benefits to working with the Nova Cats.

Negotiations
Coromodir, Cordia City
Aurigan Collective, Periphery
11th July 3120

The three VTOLs flew over Cordia City which basked in the late afternoon sun, Cordia City was mostly low built buildings and it was dominated by the massive castle situated in the middle. Two of the aircraft were Mantis Combat VTOLs painted in the brown and red camouflage of the Aurigan Collective while the centre craft was a green painted Cobra Transport VTOL with the insignia of the Star League Defence Force. The three craft orbited around the city a couple of times before the two Mantis pulled up and away from the Cobra leaving it alone. The transport craft moved in on the castle at the centre of Cordia City and came into landing on the guarded pad. Unlike the two Mantis VTOLs which had traditional propellers on top and at the back of the craft but the Cobra was more like a convention plane it had two jet engines situated in the middle of aircraft wings either side of the craft.  At the rear of the ship a ramp lowered and out walked a man with peppered grey and black hair with a matching beard and a business suit at his side he carried a small box. Behind him two green camouflaged soldiers stepped out of the DropShip each carried rifles at shoulder rest. The two troopers fell into step behind the suited male as they walked away from the landing pad and down some steps to a lower level where they were met by brown and green uniformed soldiers these escorted them inside.

Inside the Castle they were escorted to the throne room High Lady Kamea Arano II sat on the throne waiting for him she was dressed beautifully in a red and black dress. “High Lady Arano, thank you for seeing me. A gift from the Commanding-General” he said handing the box to one of Arano’s aides “a bearskin hat and scarf, he understands that winter is coming to Coromodir.”

“Ambassador Aitkin, welcome back to Coromodir” she greeted him “thank you for the gift. Shall we get to business?”

“Of course, I am here to request access to the facility you have discovered on Artu. We would like to investigate it, potentially refurbish it and use it as a base of operations.”

“It is quite an impressive facility” she said

“Yes, it is and of Star League vintage.”

“A past Star League.” She reminded him “we have reoccupied the facility and are in the process of refurbishing the gear present.”

“The Commanding-General is willing for the Aurigan Collective to keep all of the contents of the base, and maintain a presence alongside our own.” He suggested “with your permission we will refurbish the base and operate it, we will of course support the Aurigan Collective in shoring up security and obviously our presence will require a steady supply line which will bring more trade.”

“Those would all be welcome, but we would require one further step.”

   “Which would be?”

“Support in re-establishing Project Rook.” She suggested

“That is a very large ask High Lady Arano.”

“I’m not convinced given the size of the SLDF and the resources you have available. The Aurigan Collective does not have the resources of the SLDF, nor of our neighbours. We do not expect an attack today, we do not expect an attack tomorrow but an attack could come. Rook would guard against that.”

“We could work towards that Lady Arano.” He agreed “but to give the Aurigan Collective that we would need a stronger base behind our control over the facility on Artu. We would likely need the full control over that world, to use it as a base to support what you will require from us.”

“Artu is a frozen rock with a small population. Should any of them wish to leave the SLDF will have to facilitate their move and support their new living place.”

“Agreed we can do that” he admitted he knew that Artu had a population in the low thousands even if they wall wanted to move out of the Aurigan Collective and to the Star League Protectorate, hell Terra itself, the SLDF could do it without a thought. According to their initial analysis 90% of the population stayed nowhere near the facility anyway and they shouldn’t be a problem. To keep Arano happy he would ensure that every family was visited independently and given options to stay and be supported or to move anywhere they wanted to go.

Stand-off
San Bardo Racing Circuit
Southern Continent, Solaris VII
20th July 3120

As the crowds arrived at San Bardo Racing Circuit outside BattleMechs from six separate BattleMech Stables stand opposite a star of Clan Wolf BattleMechs. Neither of the sets of warriors are involved in the racing but the tensions on Solaris are bubbling over as the Stables are looking for ways to expand and the Wolf Garrison on the world refuse further expansion.

Diplomacy wins over rather than open combat with the Solaris Stables instead Clan Wolf agrees to hold annual Trials of Propagation. In those Trials the Stables will be allowed to increase their size with a win against the Wolf Garrison to a maximum strength of ten BattleMechs however should they fail then the number of Mechs they will be allowed to own will be reduced. Should a stable be reduced to less than a single active BattleMech their remaining assets and supplies will be seized by Clan Wolf. For the benefit of fairness SLDF observers will be allowed into every Trial of Propagation as the balancing act on Solaris continues.

CIC, Bulwark (Halcyon-class Cruiser)
High Orbit, Irece,
Irece Prefecture, Draconis Combine
27th July 3120

In a flash of light the Halcyon-class vessel Bulwark arrived near the planet of Irece, inside the Draconis Combine, at a pirate point. “Status” Star Admiral Seidman, the commander of the vessel, called out from his position in the middle of the round room which was dominated by the tactical holo-tank in the centre of the room.
“Sir, we have a Kyushu II-class Frigate breaking orbit turning in our direction.” One of the sensor operators reported.

“Very good, Deploy DropShips and fighters to the Planet we will cover them.” He said, their primary duty here was to escort the Khan to the planet’s surface where the actual mission would take place. “Prime Gun crew you are clear to engage with Reaper.” He commanded looking over at the two operators on his right side, the Bulwark had recently been refitted with a Repeating Naval Gauss Rifle or Reaper as the crew had begun to call it, along with the main gun changes multiple secondary arrays of hyper assault gauss rifles and advanced tactical missiles had been added to the starship essentially creating a new version of the Halcyon.

“Aye sir, clear to engage with Reaper, targeting helm adjust course two degrees to port.” One of the gunners said “engaging with Reaper” he replied the weapon fired three light naval gauss slugs in a single volley. The three gauss slugs crossed the space between the two targets rapidly, the first slammed into the nose of the turning Frigate while the second bored down the side of the ship tearing into the armour. The third slug missed the target completely.

“Not good” Seidman said glancing at them “secondary crew take firing control over” he commanded as the Kyushu II engaged them with Naval Lasers striking the Bulwark’s nose. “Damage control teams to stations.” He called into the ship’s intercom activating controls on the holo-table in the centre of the room.

“Secondary’s have target” one of the other set of gunners replied, “we have target engaging with Reaper, firing” she said again the Bulwark fired three shots from its forward weapon this time two struck the nose of the ship and the third tore down the side of the ship.

“Better Secondary Crew you have gunnery duties for remains of engagement…”

“I declare a Circle of Equals!” One of the crew called out angrily standing at his post.

“Agreed” one of the other gunners replied not moving from his station “firing Reaper on enemy target!”

“You will fight in a Circle after this battle, to the death, retake your station” Seidman ordered the man who nodded “you will control point defence and tertiary armaments.” He said calmy demoting the primary crew to the conventional weapons allowing operations to continue. As this drama had continued in the CIC the Reaper shots slammed into the nose of the Kyushu II forcing it to change course. “Excellent work, open them with the secondary array!” He ordered as the Bulwark closed on its target the Naval Autocannons mounted in turrets behind the gauss rifle engaged the Kyushu which each tore holes in the Frigate’s port armour. “Helm turn us to port, Broadside guns on target!” As the ship passed its heavy naval autocannon array engaged lighting up the side of the Kyushu II, the Bulwark had the advantage over the other ship now causing disproportionate damage on their enemy.

“Pivot along the axis!” Seidman ordered “continue along course.”

“Pivoting to starboard” the helm officers replied the Bulwark began to turn while continuing along the same course.

“Targeting their engines” the gunners said Seidman allowed them to work. The Reaper fired again this time targeting the rear of the retreating Kyushu II, this time all three slugs slammed into the main engines of the enemy frigate one of the ship’s main engine nacelles stuttered out from the damage. In response from the Kyushu lasers and autocannons continued to slam into the heavily armoured hull of the Bulwark. While light for a Cruiser the Bulwark was built around a reinforced core and had heavier armour plating than most ships of its size and it absorbed the damage.

“Helm main engine burn, kill our momentum and keep us in range.”

“Aff Admiral” the helmsman responded at the rear of the Bulwark the ships massive engines ignited once more cutting the reverse velocity of the Cruiser as it did the weapons array continued to blaze away at the rear of the Draconis Combine vessel shredding its rear armour and the remaining engine nacelles, from the Bulwark’s he could tell there was a hull breach.

“Comms, give me direct contact with the target, continue attack aim to disable them in their entirety.” He ordered moments later the crewman at comms sent his console a message to say he was connected.

“Bulwark Actual to Draconis Combine Cruiser, your engines are disabled, our sensors can see your hull is breached. Cease defence fire, heave to and prepare to be boarded, I Andreas Seidman, claim your ship, its crew and cargo as Isorla for Clan Hell’s Horses.”

“No, you cannot have this vessel!” The ship’s commander replied

“Then prepare to be boarded!” He replied “deploy assault shuttles to target.” He commanded watching the heavily damaged frigate begin to spiral out of control having its main engines being disabled. Soon from the Halcyon ten Pelican-class Small Craft headed over to the Kyushu and deposited several stars worth of Elementals and conventional marines.

Watching on the Holo-tank Seidman noticed that the Bulwark had slowed to a stop and was beginning to accelerate forwards again “Helm, bring us alongside them but keep enough distance that should their core explode, we will be minimally harmed.”

“Star Admiral, this is Star Captain Cooper heavy resistance being encountered however we have reached the cargo bay and we have confirmed that the cargo is intact as the Watch suggested it would be.” One of the Elementals confirmed “we are blasting clear the cargo bay doors and will eject them from the Mechbays before the defenders try something rash.”

“Aff Star Captain Cooper, well done Pelicans are in place for recovery.” He responded “deploy second and third Pelican stars for recovery operations lets secure as many of these machines as we can.” The Watch had said they had intelligence that the Land-Air-Mechs onboard the Kyushu II based in the Irece system did not have pilots and that the ship was being used as a transport for moving the units across the Draconis Combine and now the Hell’s Horses would be salvaging as many of them as they could. “Contact the Khan and inform her mission accomplished.”

----

On the ground near the LexaTech Industries the Khan’s forces pushed heavily against the Draconis Combine defenders while they were not near to controlling the facility her people had fought well so far. News that the Frigate in orbit had been disabled and that the Horses were salvaging the LAM cargo on-board. Like the Frigate the ground defenders had refused a batchall and now instead of an honourable Trial of Possession this was a grinding raid.

“Khan Cooper” one of her warriors call for her attention.

“Report” she ordered from her Gnome Battle Armour suit.

“We have broken into the barracks; we have confirmed there are eighty engineers and their families present.” The Elemental reported

   “Good evacuate them”

“The engineers are resisting leaving their factories, we could execute them?”

“Neg, we need the engineer’s cooperation. Tell them we will take them all if they agree to cooperate with us.” She stated activating her suit’s communication system “Star Admiral Seidman I need three of the Pelicans to be redeployed to the surface.” She commanded “yes, I understand that Admiral but this is just as important, do it. We will hold until they arrive.”

On the ground the Horses held their ground as the Khan had promised but it came at a cost more than half of the Khan’s troops had been killed in the fighting and the Khan herself severely injured with her left arm severed at the shoulder by enemy fire. The three Pelicans flew through the continued fighting to evacuate the recently captured engineers and their families which were immediately evacuated to the Bulwark. On the ground the Hell’s Horses attempted to pull back but the Draconis Combine defenders would not let them go.

“Cooper to Bulwark, this will be my final transmission” Teresia Cooper said into a communication link from her medical bed onboard a combat vehicle. “When our Pelican’s arrive, you are to leave this system and return home. My forces have fought bravely but we cannot win the day. Our mission today was to secure the future of Clan Hell’s Horses and we have succeeded. You have the blueprints adapt them to our great work and continue the STAMPEDE!” She commanded as her forces continued to battle. In all three Clusters of Horses personnel, equipment and their Khan are lost on Irece as they are surrounded and pounded by the Draconis Combine defences. The LexaTech Industries facility survives damaged but intact with the personnel losses discovered after the fighting was over. Meanwhile the Bulwark is able to slip through Draconis Combine naval units and is not seen again within the Succession State’s territory.

Interesting Raid by the Horses..

I can see them being will to look at LAMs
"For the Angel of Death spread his wings on the blast, And breathed in the face of the foe as he passed:And the eyes of the sleepers waxed deadly and chill, And their hearts but once heaved, and for ever grew still!"
