(Answered) Motive critical + overheat = immobile?
« on: 30 July 2024, 03:09:44 »
Let's say I have a Battlemaster with base movement 8. He gets a motive critical (1/2 MP) and two points of heat. What is the order of operations here? Do I first divide it by 2 and then subtract 4, making him immobile (with all its effects)? Or do I first take out the 4 from heat, and then divide the rest by 2?

Bonus question: if he's immobilized this way, does sprinting make him slightly mobile again?

AS:CE has a sidebar called multiple modifiers that covers this.
