I like your use of firing sticks.

Look forward to seeing how other  games pan out for you.

Great use of the Heroscape terrain. Lovely looking map.

The firing sticks are just pipe cleaners.  Very cheap and you can get them in multiple colours  from craft stores.  Even if I'm not doing a bat rep I'll be using them, makes the declaration of fire much easier.

Hi Emplion.

Just found your postings in some quick googling.  Looks like you have made an awesome map out of the Heroscape tiles. Have often mused on doing the same thing when I ever saw them on sale at CanCon or similar events. However, wasnt sure I was willing to make the investment! Looks like you have got a lot out of your efforts...

Anyway, I am a long time Battletech player, who first started playing when 3025 was the core rules, way before these Clan fellas with extended range PPCs started turning up. Like yourself, it has been quite a while since I last played, but would be keen to start again if I could find some good players here in Canberra.
I still have all my tech readouts, numerous map sets, plastic minis and so on.   O0

I have also been contemplating using some of my old Mighty Empires sets (an old GW games that uses hexes to flesh out a game world) to run a battletech extended campaign.  Would be good to have some new players in the area to join in.

Anyway mate, if you are looking for new opponents/fellow wargamers....drop me a line to say gday!

Neil..
