Ditto.  Under "February Release's" the last one is the Morrigan, but I've No Clue what any others are.

The Osteon and Cephalus are both Society OmniMechs from Wars of Reaving, completing the Society's Unholy Trinity with the Septicemia.

The Hector is a very early Age of War Marik BattleMech from the Age of War historical.
"Well, I do, Marcus, and rule number one of the MAC has always been that the man with the plan leads. If we get shot up, I'm the first one to get my ticket punched. There are no flags in the MAC."
"And there never will be," Barton said, nodding his head in agreement.

"You guys are facing a freaking Shadow Division! These guys have strict policies against playing fair!"

"I don’t care. Kill them. I planned the defense so I know it will work. If they claim otherwise, they’re cowards. Speck...

Can you possibly keep an updated list of what pending Online Exclusive mechs are coming out? Had I known about the Osteon D & Jaguar...I would not have purchased 2 extra Osteon primes on my last order.

Thanks

Hector arms look useful for great many things  >:D

Interestingly enough I believe the MUL lists the Hector as available to the Regulans post jihad...

Excellent work as always, the Osteon prime and the Osteon Jaguar will be part of my collection as soon as there up and I can get to my laptop! Now I wonder what the Jaguars color scheme was...

Thanks for the names Speck!   O0

@Klat - I agree, those Hector arms look amazingly similar to Unseen Warhammer arms to me.   ;)   The Hector itself looks pretty good also.  I don't think I'll get a Lance, but I'll probably get a pair at least.

Looking at the Hector and all I can think of is how it'd work as a base for a 9M2 Marauder if I could just find two 6 pack launchers to mount on it.

Or it'd make a good stand in for that experimental one from XTRO: SW 1.

I would if I could, but the online exclusive releases is very fluid and changes depending on when things get done. I plan on posting what I know is coming in the pipeline that is sculpted and waiting for release.

Morrigan and Cephalus are my favorites, but all look good. Strong releases all around. Especially considering that pictures of the best one - Cephalus D - are still missing.

The best thing about this batch is the fact that on all of them only one foot needs to be cut off those #$@!!' integrated bases.

The hector just doesn't look right...
How so?
I think the sculptor did an excellent job transforming a Mech of which only one artwork exists into a dynamic miniature.

The hector just doesn't look right...

Indeed, it does not.

Too squat, legs are to small, and from the stance of the Hector in the artwork, it looked like it had a waist.  At least to me.

This mini looks like the legs are attached directly to the body like a Falconer...which is always ridiculous and unrealistic.

Maybe some additional pics from different angles would help?  How big is it compared to other minis?

So far it looks to be another disappointing sculpt.

Dang.

I have to agree with Gunji, I like the looks of the mini. I feel the sculptor did a good job of getting the art work into metal. Of course, I like alot of mechs that some feel are fugly. Just my feelings.

The things you criticize are due to the perspective of the picture. The legs are not too small. The legs are not attached to the body, but to a waist which you just can't see at that angle.
The Hector is smaller than the Osteon, if that helps.

A key-phrase from your post: "At least to me."
That is something not just the sculptors, but also the QC at IWM/Catalyst have to deal with. Mechs like the Hector exist only in a single piece of art, which probably has problems of its own (perspective distortion, the artist took some liberties which are not possible in 3d, ...). Interpreting the art ... finding a common ground ... a compromise even ... there is just no way around it.
Maybe everyone's interpretation is just different from yours?

I think you'll like the Hector from other angles. Last I saw it did have a pelvis piece. Small, but its there.

Please define what you mean by "fugly".  The Orion, Unseen Ostroc and Ostsol are considered "fugly" by many from artwork to the minis.  But the mini's were pretty accurate with often only slight changes that usually improved the design.  The changes made to the Ostroc to reflect the stats were understandable and appreciated.

I do not consider the Hector to be a "fugly" mech/design.  Looks pretty cool to me; I just don't feel the mini represents the artwork very well.

Good to hear there is a waist.  Can the mech be posed with a twist to the left or right?

Smaller than an Osteon doesn't help me much, unfortunately.  Hector next to Unseen Marauder would be the best pic to answer the questions I have.

Most of the mechs exist "in a single piece of art" when they are being sculpted.  And everything you said after "At least to me" is understood by almost all. And as for your comment regarding interpretation, there is no maybe about.  Interpretation/perceptions will always involve differences, which is why I stated "At least to me" to begin with.

My biggest fear the was the cockpit.  Was what I interpreted as glare going to be an oddly placed pane-reinforcement/mount as in other minis?  Fortunately the cockpit turned out ok.  But the Hector mini's snout looks wrong.  Looks rounded/flaired when it appears to more flat/squared in the artwork.

How much does a Hector cost and when will it be available?

Just making a comment that my choice of a mech that I like, is not what others like. Same as what you feel about the Hector. Personal choices.
As far as "fugly", if you put the four letter word associated with f and add ugly, you get fugly.  :)

My opinion as well. Given the difference of angles, the mini looks fairly accurate.
Good news too there is a waist, that can indeed make for interesting poses.  :)

I also would lime to see it from a different angle if we could please( the hector ). I so want it to be close to the artwork. It seems the guns on the arms are a bit too long from this angle.
