Were Succession Wars Era Warships salvaged during the war?

Hello
I was reading the Second Succession War, i found that a ship that had been scuttled in previous First Succession War book appeared again in the Second Succession War Book. The ship in question is the CCS Khalzan, a Capellan destroyer.  The ship was crippled and scuttled during the 1st Succession War, and it was destroyed in the 2nd Succession War. 

So can Warships that are scuttled and be recovered?  Is this Khalzan a salvaged ship or a different ship sharing the same name?

Salvage of ships is possible; Strategic Operations goes into some of the recovery challenges. But it comes down to what kind of damage was done to the ship during the scuttling.

Thank you, Cray.  Is the CCS Khalzan the same ship then?  It’s not just a renamed ship that happens to be a destroyer?
