The bloodname thing is more age dependent for me.

I have got the crunch on mine pretty much done, I think I have 200 more xp, then I have to re-check the math to make sure. Should be done tonight or tomorrow daytime.

I was hoping for at least 1 tour of duty to produce more veteran warriors.

So I'm curious what everyone else's aptitudes and backstories will be more than the stats right now.

Ashley Sender is a young ristar who has already made a name for herself within Clan Wolf. She is clearly a skilled fighter and strategist in and out of the Mech who has a reputation for being able to undercut opponents on a batchall better than her sibkin. It was during her early years that she showed a remarkable aptitude for the martial arts as she had to put down an Elemental who challenged her over having a Bloodname at such a young age. He felt it was an afront to not only what the Clans stood for but also perhaps a mark against her that she was derived from a former Widowmaker Bloodline. The resulting Trial ended up being in a Circle of Equals unarmed which was supposed to give the bigger Elemental the advantage. However, Isaac lost the fight to Ashley who managed to choke him out in two minutes of ground fighting which showed her flexibility and speed were far greater than his strength and stamina. The Elemental has hated her ever since.

Ummm, I'm not 100% sure on the conversion at the moment, but he has 4 levels in each, plus a RFL of 5 and a DEX of 4, I think?... something like that. I don't have my book on this computer to do the conversion.

Pretty usre that is 3/3 total with the bonus for Phenotype. Nice.

RFL 5 is no adjustment
dex4 is no adjustment
base is 8, but with the pheno bonus its 7
bringing it to 3/3 (off the top of my head)

the char I am working on is about 1/2 done, I have all the modules picked, all the base traits and stats roughed in (amazing how often the clan modules use cha as a "dump stat" I ended up after my modules with a cha of -105 :( which means if I don't want to be ug-UGLY I am going to have to spend a bunch there.

for instance before using my flex xp, or my you get 15 xp ea to apply to 5 choices of....

I came out with stats of:
str min 4, 200xp, (still need to spend 200)
bod min 5 265 xp
RFL min 3 475
dex min 4 310
int min 5 195
wil min 3 320
cha -105
edg 50

I think right now my highest skill has 185 in it (before optimizations) which is ~ a 5 or 6 skill

the only thing I am not 100% sure about is if I have enough into the bloodname trait,

Karen has a bit of an issue with patience and made a few enemies, she tested out reasonably well but hasn't had breaks and opportunities to really shine. One of the enemies she made was when she convinced an jade falcon elemental that he had "outbargained her into an unaugmented duel and she proceeded to humiliate him because her hand to hand skills were so much better than his.

in general she is in good shape, and has quite good dexterity, she is 24

How much do you have in it? What bloodline?

well I can say they may have difficulties doing things like ambushes, sniping etc but on the other hand they may do really well in "attack attack no mercy style things...

sigh that reminds me of the old karate kid movies with pat moreta? they would likely have issues with the Miyagi styles, and go more towards "hard styles"

I sort of saw Ashley as practicing more Weng Chun than Hapkido as an example. She is more grace and speed with her passion than strength and brutality. Oddly, she is more of a dancer flitting about the floor. I also see her as picking up ballet upon further contact with the Inner Sphere.

What Bloodname did you end up with? Did you stick with Kerensky or go with something else?

well I will go with Winson instaid (which I qualify for) and is a wolf founder name.

as far as Karen goes, I am not as familiar with the various martial arts as I could be, but I was tending to think she would be happier with one of the forms that allow, encourage offence possibly one that includes weapons forms, but doesn't rely on them.
