So I want to build my own custom protomek. The idea is a sort of ninja like machine. Something fast, hard to hit, and supporting of its allies.
To the that end my concept is a protomek mounting a watchdog ECM suit, a light TAG, a Protomek melee weapon, and an er micro laser. The protomek also has a myomer booster, 7 walking 11 running (14 with the mymomar) and 10 armor
My question is should I prioritize armor, or go for jumpjets, or dump into movement? For context this thing is 8 tons.

Jumpjets it is a Ninja like infiltration and execution vehicle. You shouldn't be spotted and if you aren't spotted you won't be shot at particularly if you can get away with a 7/11/7 proto

I agree. If you play the maneuver game, jumping is essential.

I got bad news, and I got worse news.
The bad: I had the replace the ER micro Laser with a Machine Gun
Worse: Even after that I had no weight left for armor, yes this ProtoMech has no armor.
