Neg.

We have been pretty well looked after this year.

BT fans are just impatient for their next dose of JooJoo goodness.  I believe TPTB run the schedule so just as the flame war threads start up they drop a product.  Fair chance I am wrong.

Well, CGL just posted their July street dates and it's "All Shadowrun all the time"*

Got a link? I love shadowrun. :)

Just a question on coming releases there are 6 pdf products listed and 3 print books said to be coming out but with two of the books being IO and HB Kurita   I am not holding my breath waiting for them. Has there been any mention of other products or is this just a thin year for battletech.

We've got a print book and a new box set so far, and I believe the next Battlecorps Anthology is on track.  Given we've had preview images for the Alpha Strike Companion cover recently, I'd guess it's the next physical book (and one I'm looking forward to a great deal)

looking forward to that as well and the PDF books but with nothing released in 2+ months was hoping that maybe something else was in the works.

Yeah the street dates all being shadowrun products doesnt mean much. They dont exactly street date pdf's. I imagine the fwl objectives is due out soon... probably just waiting for a pdf buddy to release with. They like to group up.

It does feel an extremely slim year this year I agree...

Field Report 2765 AFFS
BattleTech Historical: Wars of the Republic Era
Introductory Box Set
BattleTech: Experimental Technical Readout: Royal Fantasy Tournament
BattleTech Experimental Technical Readout: Gunslingers
BattleTech: Era Digest: Dark Age
BattleTech: Field Report 2765: FWLM

So that is seven products, the real problem is that they been released in "batches"  with three in February and four in April... So if I really want to get my hopes up I would say we might be due another batch in the next few weeks.

It is understandable because as far as I know we still only have an interim head line developer and it is currently con season so releases will probably be a bit thin under such circumstances.

I think we've been spoiled for last couple years, I think.  Given the avalanche of TROs we got last year and other things we got last year.  I think were still doing good getting products to buy, its not easy write and make this stuff perfect.

They released the AToW QSR + scenario in 2012 though I don't remember if it was on the day or if they have a new scenario this year.

Just real, real, real busy guys. BattleTech isn't all we do, even if it the 'first love' for most of us. ;)
Checking over Field Report: Lyran Commonwealth 2765 to publish soon, prepping Operational Turning Points: REVIVAL Trials to turn over to art and layout, wrapping up the Alpha Strike Companion while working on Alpha Strike cards. That's just right now, we've got other BattleTech irons in the fire.

Maybe they'll let me have a blog or something on the front page so these posts aren't just buried in the forums :D

That would be awesome Adrian, and honestly, with someone like you at the helm...we'd at least have regular updates.

I'd like to second this. I think these updates do indeed get buried and that causes some confusion in the fan base.

Can't wait for the revival trials. Really excited for it. Just missed out taking it with me on my trip. But I did get a new Battletech convertee while I was out.

Just ran a grinder with some friends (and a friend brought a friend) Beginners luck was putting it lightly. I had all Operation Klondike Clan Builds in there and a misprinted Shogun-C that shouldn't have been in the stack. First mech he drew and he put down one of mine in the first round.

A friend tried to death from above my Stalker and I got him in the head with a large laser, then he missed his DFA roll and ended up falling on his head on the landing... Was enough to get us a new fan.

I agree about the blog

There is a ton of historical stuff here lately.  Is CGL trying to knock out all those projects before a charge into new territory?

I'm psyched about the REVIVAL Trials TP though.  Invasion era clan book.... YES PLEASE!

I agree completely.  We should support him for getting him, his own blog or something.

Adrian Gideon has been one aside from Welshman in keeping us update as rest of us end up going stir crazy waiting for something to drop.

I hope CGL be able spare time to hook him up with something.  Least give him a thread or something!!  :D

That right there would be the easy answer. Adrian should start his own thread, locked, so only he can update it as time goes on. The only question is can TPTB see how many people "watch" the thread...that would give them the idea of if a "blog" would be the best thing!
