Player-Generated Mercenary Combat Commands
« on: 04 September 2019, 16:51:01 »
I'm a bit confused about spending CCPs when creating a Player-Generated Mercenary Combat Command (CM:Merc pg.92).

If I create a Co., is it costing me 3CCPs (2 for Lances, and 1 for Company)? And if I scale up to a Bn. it would cost a total of 6CCPs and up to a Rgt. costing 10CCPs. total?

A build example would be helpful. Or is there a unit listed in the CM that would be built using the default 12 CCPs?

Thanks.

It's 1 CCP per unit type, up to a regiment.

A BattleMech regiment is 1 CCP.
A BattleMech battalion is still 1 CCP.
Two BattleMech regiments would be 2 CCP.
A BattleMech regiment with an armor Battalion is 2 CCP.
A BattleMech battalion with an armor battalion is still 2 CCP.
A BattleMech battalion with an artillery lance and an infantry lance is 2 CCP, because of the rule you can have two for 1 CCP if both are under a company in size.

Thanks for the clarification. I did a different way of building using the 12 CCPs (starting with skill rating and allies and enemies) and it became abit more clear. I was definitely over thinking it.
