MVO?
« on: 15 September 2019, 10:25:40 »
I'm looking at the Rgt. TOE chart in CM:Mercenaries, and I'm curious as to what MVO stands for?

I get that it's for Battle Armor, but I don't get MVO and I see it used a lot.

On a side note, anyone have any suggestions on SW or icon sets for Word, for making your own TOE charts?

Thanks

Good question, I had no idea either.
SO p338 (last paragraph of first column) has a longer description of them.  Battle Armor gets an infantry modifier that starts with the weight class (M for medium in that example) and then the first two letters of the battle armor’s name.  VO might be Void Battle Armor?

Right!? And I keep thinking to myself, "What an odd choice for a placeholder?"

The best I can give you is "Motor Vehicle Operator/Operations" which is what Acronym stands for.
Not sure what they were going for here, I would have went with "BA" or "BAO"
