Winterguard (Non-Battletech)
« on: 16 April 2024, 04:06:45 »
I felt the urge to paint something different, and had this half-finished unit that I started about a dozen years ago that I wanted to complete.  These are Winterguard Infantry from Privateer Press' Warmachine game.  They are part of the Khador faction, which was known for applying excessive amounts of force.

The first group are the "leaders" of the force, that provide special abilities for the unit.

The next group are the generic troopers that make up the bulk of the unit.

These are the special weapons that could be added.  The rocket launcher guy would be attached directly to the unit, and the mortar team could be used by themselves.  They each provided area-of-effect attacks.

And, finally, here's a shot of everyone all together.

Now, back to the 'Mechs!

Good work. That was a really fun and interesting game that just seemed to fall off the map one day.
