Not familiar with this movement type
« on: 01 May 2019, 17:43:31 »
while browsing unit card variants for my dire wolf, I noticed on MUL, the U variant has a movement value of 6"S as a value. what does the S stand for? I wasn't able to find it in any of the rulebooks I possess. is it representative of the UMU special ability regarding movement with water, or something else? mistype/error?

Submersible.  UMUs are usually how mechs gets a submersible movement.

Ah thank you, that makes sense. Is there a section in rulebooks that goes in depth in these and other types of specialized movement types? I only saw a section covering jump movement in the core rulebook.

P31 lists the names for the movement mode letters. The effects for submersible are on the movement cost table (same for most movement modes).  Submersible negates the additional movement costs of being in depth 2”+ water (the footnote).
