(Answered) Flamers, Heat & Partial Cover

Similar to the Inferno Question, just thought best to create a new thread

I am going to assume an attack from a Flamer dealing heat damage only against a target with partial cover, or being swarmed by infantry/carrying battle Armor, that on a successful hit, one must roll for location to see if itreally hit, or it hit the cover/infantry instead.

Obviously (with regards to Battlemech Manual) if using the Enhanced flamer this question is moot.

Whether you're dealing heat or straight damage doesn't change the hit resolution process in this case.
