Something I'd Like To See.....
« on: 19 November 2011, 00:36:14 »
These are a few things I'd like to see in the future of the BattleTech universe storyline is when the clans plan on invading for the second time:

1) Clan Nova Cat eventually teams up with Clan Wolf-In-Exile

2) Together, Clan Nova Cat and Clan Wolf-In-Exile finally show the Inner Sphere how to make clan mechs exactly. Two GREAT mechs to show together would be the Nova Cat and the Timber Wolf! That'd be amazing!

3) Now that they know how to literally duplicate the "perfect mix" and the "ultimate direct fire sniper", the Inner Sphere starts making these like crazy. (You could also include the wonderful/beautiful Hellstar as one of the designs they show to the Inner Sphere.

4) All the Great Houses, Clan Nova Cat, and Clan Wolf-In-Exile combine arms and reform the Star League.

5) The crusader clans are defeated, and the Warden clans are offered another chance to dwell with the Star League once again.

Okay. But won't that confuse the audience who hears both sides of the story? Meaning:

Side 1) The story made up from MechWarrior Online.

Side 2) The story you guys make up.

Hello,

In every incarnation of the computer and video games based on BattleTech, the correlation between the electronic games and the print game and storyline is loose at best. Because the computer game designers are rarely at all privy to the major story lines, print products, (and in some cases, even the basic rules of the universe), they can never be considered canonical.

Do any of the lead developers plan on playing this game?

Hello,

Maybe. Someday. In all honesty, I have very little time for video games nowadays.
