Out of curiosity is there any reason why the 1st edition 1986 Ral Partha Atlas is so much smaller than a 1998 one? I got one through a buddy and thought it was the same size in pictures then got home and compared the size. I was very very surprised at the difference given the old one barely comes to the new one's jaw. Also is the first one more valuable?

Also hte Annihilator I got is the same size as the small Atlas.......
