Honestly, Pats didn't have an easy game of it, espesially once Gronk got sidelined.

They are still very good, but far from the extreme we had even 1-2 years back. THe lack of Edelman this season in the Offense is clearly shown I think.

With Gronk, Amandela and Edelman on the O-line Brady has so many great options to play on.

Hmm methinks it be a good idea to keep an eye on the injury report for the Super Bowl.  That could have some serious implications for the Super Bowl.

Huh, so the ****** are downgrading themselves at QB with Alex Smith instead of Kirk Cousins. At least they'll have more cap space to spend on overpriced veterans.

Well they are trying to out dysfunction the Browns.  But then again so are Chicago, Denver, and Detroit.

I'm praying to all the football god that Kirk Cousins does not end up in Denver. He will cost the Broncos $30+ mill/year and cost us at least two players on the current roster (Talib, Thomas or Sanders) to be cut to open up cap room for signing him. I say let the Browns have him, they've got plenty of cap room (100+ million) based on the projectd cap for 2018 (176 million).

I'm a Chiefs fan and this trade news made my week.  Kendall Fuller is better than getting a first round draft pick; he's proven skill at a tough position and he's getting paid $900k.

That's my problem as well. He's a pretty good QB overall, but he's not a guy I'd throw enormous wads of money at the way someone like Brees or Brady would be able to ask for- and that's what we're looking at here, Bradford-levels of cash. That means you don't have money to do anything else with your team anymore.

Screw it, give me the same idiots from last year, draft someone competent to learn the offense (bye Paxton) and let's build the right way instead of scrambling to throw money at a guy who won't have the weapons to be worthwhile anyway.

So the "Hover-hand" is legal technique for catching a football.  Got it NFL.  Catches make perfect sense.

FYI, I have no rooting interest in the Super Bowl this year.

All questionable calls should automatically be catches because sick catches are cool as hell and overturning sick catches is the death of football.

No! Not controlling the football is the death...

I kid.

Also, strong evidence that that the Eagles were in an illegal formation during the Foles touchdown.

This next one might be the dumbest yet.  I say TD with 2:30+ left in the game.

Well now the only question is will they have to declare a state of emergency in Philly with the celebrations that are starting now.

Word is that Jeffrey checked with the refs with where he lined up before the play and got the all-clear.

Since the difference between "on the line" and where he's standing is barely six inches I'm inclined to file this "strong evidence" in the wastebin.

Not meant as a debate since the game is over but the still I saw from a pic on Twitter via PFT was bit further than a few inches. I guess that's the internet equivalent of hearsay from the third crapper to the left.  Anyway, didn't know about the first part.

And not a total blowout, nicely done with keeping the scores from getting too far apart - a lot of 'yeah, we're still in this' from the Patriots, and a really tense fourth as far as the scoring went.

My favorite SBLII news story making the rounds is whether or not Tom Brady is a sore loser:  he's now 0 for 3 for shaking the opposing QB's hand when losing the Super Bowl!  I'm sure it won't seriously affect the discussion about his probable GOAT status... but still a GOAT should at least not be a whiny bitch, amirite?

In all fairness, perhaps at least in this case he may have simply not been able to find Foles since he is on film shaking some Iggles' hands.  Still, 3 times is 3 times...  Once is a fluke.  Twice is a coincidence.  Three times is a pattern.
