Circe 1300 Local time

Khan Hallis looked over the city as christmas decorations danced in the wind, happy citizens of the city rushed about buying presents for their families.   "I wonder if "we" made the right choice leaving the Hegemony and fleeing here?" he pondered.         

Christmas day arrived and the 1st Recon was reconstituted and 1st Hussars were at 75% strength.   31st Light Horse received a trinary of warriors but no mechs.  Clan Blood Spirit began a friendly challenge of sorts,  a trinary challenged a trinary from the 6th Striker,  a week long exercise proved highly succesful.

Clan Iron Mongoose wasnt idle during the year,  Iota Galaxy, recently smashed by the Jaguars and earned respect clanwide for the stalwart defense and courage displayed, once again stood among their clan.   Also a star of Grimoir's was purchased from Clan Wolverine.

Clan Space

The gathering jumpships and dropships of the Expeditionary force over Strana Mechty was taxing local space control,  Khan Hallis noted as his dropship was cleared for landing.      Almost 3 stars of Wolverines were aboard the assembled dropships, awaiting to return to the inner sphere.      A grand speech was gave by Khan of the Wolves and Khan of the Adders, along with a warning of the perils of being with the barbarians and extolling the virtues of the Star League and the Clans.   The last dropship lifted by 10.   By 11 the first jumpship began the journey to inner sphere.

Noon Local Time

Khan Hallis was meeting with Khan Fara Church of the Blood Spirits, Khan Tom Knox of Clan Mongoose and Khan Arbott of Sea Fox to hammer out a informal alliance and trade agreement.    After several hours a bare bones agreement was settled on, trials were scheduled, and units were being contacted to begin bidding.
As Khan Hallis was leaving Khan Church approached him "I find myself in a unusual position Khan of the Wolverines.   Your Clan has shown a kindness no clan has ever shown Clan Blood Spirit.    Thank you and your Clan for the gifts you have bestowed upon us." said Khan Church
"When we were fighting for our right to exist, Clan Blood Spirit  was among a few who stood with us and gave us a much needed boost.  For that we are eternally grateful." replied Khan Hallis.

the testing of the Pulverizer , Stag and Badger have been ongoing for 46 years.   3 layouts have shown great promise, the Stag has had many issues intergrating the software and gyro issues.     The Badger was moving apace until the dragoon compromise, the Iron Mongoose issue and other more pressing Clan issues pushed its timetable aside.
