Although Clan Smoke Jaguar looks down on vehicles as being a weapon unworthy of a warrior, even they realised that Mechs couldn't be everywhere during Operation REVIVAL. With resistance movements and uprisings to deal with from the 'Lower Caste' Draconis Combine civilians the Jaguars now controlled and sought to bring to heel, a 'pacification' version of the Zorya was produced.
Best described as a 'war crime on tracks', the Zorya CCV is designed to do one thing and one thing only. Annihilate lightly armoured targets on foot. With a quartet of machine guns which can be loaded with rubber bullets if needed, and a pair of utterly devastating heavy flame throwers, the Zorya CCV can do horrific things to infantry forces, or rioting civilians. A trio of A-Pods are also mounted which are triggered if the vehicle is rushed by a crowd and these act as a final layer of protection against attack. An active probe also lets the CCV hunt for targets regardless of terrain of cover.
Some Zorya CCV's have loaded up their flamers with water or foam to act as anti-riot vehicles, but the huge pressure of the heavy flamer even when firing a jet of water can cause significant injury.
