General vehicle trait table...

...I just want to be sure I'm understanding the ** note for it.  If a character wants to own a vehicle outright they can apply +2 TP to the General Vehicle trait to own any vehicle they want to?

Yup, its explained in the Vehicle section the previous page.

The note is kind of odd if you think about it. With the current chart at +8 you reach the max weight class for all the types of units. +12 may be possible with the +2 for owning the vehicle, but its certainly not necessary.

Maybe it will become necessary if the chart is ever revised for Super/Ultra-heavy designs.

Actually the ASF table goes up to 10 for Small Craft with 9 being Heavy ASF so 12 is quite viable.

Hmm, am I missing errata? 9 and 10 on mine is "Assault" for the ASF table.

Which I suppose could translate to Small craft.

Or they could be using the `Mech definition of tonnage for aerospace fighters, rather than the old 3 class system.

Though if they are, I suppose it still means you would need an 11. 12 still seems a bit superfluous :)

Nah, I'm just being a bit cross eyed again and reading the wrong row for the column.

Though this is why I've put so much work into fixing the Vehicle trait for my House Rules.
