I am going to ask if I can write an article on the Legionnaire.  I assume there will be no objects...

Pencil my Centurion article in for either the 14th or 21st. I won't have much opportunity to work on it until then.

Kind of confused though. A lot of people have claimed designs to work on, but no one is actually chiming in to post them it seems. Folks, if you set aside a design to write about... write!

That is one reason i suggested people chime in to re-confirm their reservations. That was some weeks ago.

I believe Jymset was the only one to confirm some things.

In the meantime, if someone wants to write about something reserved, PM those and ask if they're doing it or not.

Might have to bug Ivan about the T-Hawk. I always love talking about fun-but-flawed designs.  ^-^

Just reconfirming. No set schedule, though. Hey, it only took me 5 years to write the Wolvie!

Has the Thor II ever gotten a MotW article?

To find if an article has been done:

+Open Chanman's awesome index of past articles: http://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php?topic=174.0

+Whatever browser you're using, run a search for the unit's name. (So for example, if you want to find the Demolisher, run your search and type 'Demolisher', and click through the results of the search).

What he's got there is the single most valuable resource one could have when it comes to the fan article section (beyond the articles themselves, mind you). I strongly recommend using it.

When was the last time the Huntsman got done? Or, has it ever been done?

If not, I'd love to work on it.

Well, it is a four year old article, and is missing one of the new configs for it.

Well, you can always post your thoughts on the new config in the thread.

Personally, i wouldn't write about any 'Mechs in the list unless the existing article is really limited or flawed (having major mistakes or missing a lot of stuff). I'd just post in the thread.

That said, i think there's no rule against posting an article about a 'Mech that already has an article.

Fair enough. And I read further, the F config is covered, just not on the initial post.

I'll wait and see.

I haven't seen anyone do the Cygnus. I think I'll work on that, if anyone's okay with it.

Again, there's absolutely nothing stopping you from opening in the existing Huntsman thread and posting your impressions. The more Huntsman talk the better I say. O0

It was covered in 2009, but that's a long time ago. Go for it!

Don't forget about the Cygnus 4 in TRO3145.

You only forget that thing exists once. ;)

Kinda wish we'd had one matching Bannson's personal ride instead of another twin-big-ballistics beast though.

Unless there's an article already on the docket (it's kind of hard to tell in this thread), I should have the Centurion (non-Omni) ready to go tomorrow evening/early Friday. There's a lot to cover, as you can imagine! It's just as possible to bump it a week or two back if other people have things ready to go.
