I'm curious as to what happened to the Illyrian Palatinate during the Star League era, particularly during the Reunification War era. The Palatinate is shown on the 2596 map of the Inner Sphere in Historical: Reunification War, but isn't mentioned in the text anywhere.
I'm guessing that as a small 4-world state it had no choice but to get incorporated into the Star League, but what status did it have? Was it simply a vassal of the Star League central administration, or one of the neighbouring Houses? Was it ever occupied by Star League forces, or did it simply get left alone other than paying taxes?
